Loftus-Cheek isn't good enough. Better than Delph, Barkley or Rice. Hopefully Phil Foden can get some more game time next season, because he is better than all those midfielders you mention. I think Harry Winks would probably offer more than Delph and I'm looking forward to the further development of Emile Smith-Rowe who has lots of potential. Another one with potential I hope kicks on next season is Morgan Gibbs-White at Wolves. James Garner at Manchester United will play for England in the future and could get some minutes in the Prem next season.

All good stuff, and don't forget that Delle Ali was still eligible for the U-21 team until about three weeks ago. He is still a young player despite having over 200 appearances at the top level. There are reasons why Delph, Stones and Barkely cannot get regular games at their clubs.

Even further ahead, I can see the likes of highly-rated Faustino Anjorin at Chelsea, Harvey Elliott at Fulham, Amadou Diallo at West Ham and Morgan Rogers at West Brom pushing for midfield spots with England in years to come. In defence, I've seen lots of Rhys Williams at Liverpool, Taylor Harwood-Bellis at Man City and Brandon Williams at Man Utd who are all excellent and have a chance if they kick on. In attack, Mason Greenwood at Manchester United could be a potential superstar in the future.

I expect a much stronger line up Vs Switzerland - no doubt the European Finals hindered us last night, although ironically it was 1 man who was the cause of the problems who would have been there anyway.
Next game for me: Pickford TAA - Gomez - MacGuire/Keane - Rose Lingard - Henderson - Alli Sancho - Rashford - Sterling

Good point, let’s hope so - if not then Kane will have to go in but let’s be honest, he’s undrippable anyway (with the 1 exception last night due to injury/fitness)

The dutch are a class act and you'd imagine will only get better. A good thing england didnt reach the final as 20000+ england fans in porto v portugal wld have been a wkend of englands finest chavs acting up again! I wouldn't say they're a class act. They've got the best defender in the World, and a 19 year old next to him who has the potential to be just as as good. And De Jong in the middle is a good player. But that's it. I'd much rather have England's squad.

Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi and Rashford who went off would all be in England's best 11. None of the English lads who played in the CL final started, whereas VVD and Wijnaldum played 90 mins. sh** mistakes at the back cost England but I wouldn't be to bothered about this game. England have got the better side when all the players are fit.
The future is bright for England.

It is easy to see the future for England. Alexander-Arnold at RB, Hudson-Odai, Loftus-Cheeks in there somewhere. Add a fit Harry Kane. It was noticable that not only were his goals missed, but his general link-up play as well. He is one of the best passers of a ball in the team! Ross Barkeley, Fabien Delph? Really. Neither can hardly get a game for their clubs. Stones....oh dear. He needs to go back to the School of Defending to re-learn that sometimes you just have to put your boot through the ball and send it. Lingard? No, he just doesn't bring anything to the team. Also, at this time, Henderson is also a must play. It was the wrong time for England. I've said elsewhere that I think this is a good competition, but these final games are too late as the season finished ages ago and the players just want to hit the beach. Loftus-Cheek isn't good enough. What makes you say that? He can control the game, he can also run with the ball from deep, can also create, and also score goals. He's the most complete Midfielder England has imo

I think he was dialing that performance in. GGMI beaten by predictive text yet again, just like England's over rated team of big billy bollocks. Gone over head.
