Speaking to Mansfield supporting mate of mine and he says there's talk that Flitcroft will get the push if they fail to go up. A potential landing spot for DC considering he played there?
I'll go Villa, Charlton, Newport.
However if Sunderland go up I'd hope we'd enquire about their big centre back who ran the show down the mem because the Sunderland fans after the game seemed to think he was one of their worst players.
Villa are in unbelievable form, Leeds are not. West Brom & Derby very hit and miss as per usual.
Pompey & Sunderland, again can be very hit and miss, possibly look like Brazil 1970 one week and a downs league two side the very next. Doncaster can’t hold a candle to their play off counterparts (even though I witnessed them stick 8 into us this season) & Charlton are the ones on a superb run of form.
Mansfield bare psychology scarring from an almighty bottling of the top 3, Tranmere merely dependant on wether Norwood is on his game, Newport seem to be the one off fixture specialists with recent cup exploits, FGR went about there business very quietly all season long and for me are going to be the surprise package (even though they are a bookies second favourite)
All four of my beautiful, lovingly produced Rovers books are available as printed books & NEW eBooks. 'Away The Gas' is packed full of over 50 years of 'I was there' away game moments, all written by fans. 'Print That Season!' is an alternative season review for 2014/15, with none of the hindsight that most writers rely on, 'Double Darrell' does the same for 2015/16 but using even better sentences, and 'Back to the Future' is just a shameless continuation!
