Sorry I missed out the words “I don’t see” anyone buying us That's probably because there isn't much left to buy. We had a couple of great chances as a club and blew them. Keep reading Swiss gas's posts, he's bang on with his conclusions. How I wish we had a man like him on our board at BRFC. Fancy coming back and having another go Swiss?I can confirm Swiss Gas is in fact André Hoffmann....... Welcome aboard André

You just never know who you are talking to on football forums or is it fora?

You said..... I hope that one of the powers that be can comment as to why a simple positive request was ludicrously turned down? But you have just said you were told the reason it was turned down?? What have I missed? If the reason it was turned down was a sh**ty one then would it not have been better to expose that instead of asking a question you already knew the answer to? I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm genuinely confused. The question I knew the answer to was who won it (JC). Totally unimportant in this context. What no one seemed to know was why the presentation was prevented and I thought it was a question worthy of an answer. In my opinion anything that links the fans with the players has to be a good thing. Ah, that's where my confusion was. It read as though you knew why it was turned down. Thanks for clarifying.

So let's see what happens when the credit facility is spent and Wael, Senior AQ, Sami and Hani have to put their own money in. Whose money is it at the moment, do you think? Well... I guess it's either 1. Money drawn down from the equity released from the value of the Memorial Stadium via the credit facility. 2. The Directors of Dwane Sports are writing out cheques every year to cover the losses out of their own pocket. I'd like to think it is the latter. But I think it unlikely.

A question I have also asked and no-one seems able to answer.Unless he isn't that toxic. Just creates a smokescreen to divert attention away from the real issue - which is how BRFC are losing £3mil a year on gates of around 8 to 8.5k. Well he's been stripped of all his power, firstly. But if you remember he was brought in to be the communication between the club & the family, to represent the family. I believe that whilst Wael doesn't want him there, the person who controls the purse strings still wants him there. God knows why though. Has he? Not saying he hasn't. Just not heard anything about it from any factual or reliable source. Any link (from anyone) much appreciated. Unless 81 having stuff whispered in his ear and then re-distributing it via a football forum can be defined as a "fact". Good communication from the Board (LOL) would stop a lot of this tittle-tattle. I include my tittle-tattle. Happy tittle-tattling.

It's what I'm led to believe, but you're right - there is no guarantee. Personally, I'm on team 81 & roady in this one. What they're saying makes more sense to me than any of the other nonsense & negativity that is going around

Yes, I like his posts too and I have a lot of time for the way he carefully lays everything out in a reasonable and understandable way. "reasonable and understandable" - yeah the b*stard Banned word - going around stating facts about the company accounts. Ban him I say!

As a simple and some say innocent Rovers supporter, i find this kind of thread very very depressing that adult "fellow" gasheads need to resort to all this mud slinging and name calling and can only put our precious club in a very bad light.

Surely it is important as the SC wouldn't be able to give the main award out anyway as the winner's already left the club? Not giving out the awards pitch side etc seems to make perfect sense this season given who's won the main award.

Biggest mistake was not buying out the Banned word 1960 supporters club by the current board. I wouldn’t let you shitters anyway near the pitch after I saw Ken kissing up to the board in the Conference. You lot are finished, Ken is 1960’s and still using a fax. Over to Knowall and Hamer now. GET BEHIND THE CLUB, Two Mile Hill is dead, how many millionaire’s have you got on your team? Paul, you obviously never had the away experience of the SC when at Eastville. Why such venom please ? Yes, they are dated but all fervent rovers supporters. We now have seen the club sever ties with them, get rid of a a great man in Keith Brookman, also Nick day and now screen soccer. Don’t you think it’s poor form to be cutting ties with people who have been loyal servants and volunteers, not paid. I know some say we need dragging into a contemporary club but I think it’s bad when you do it to loyal fans, fans who have raised not insignificant amounts for the club. Helpline were not allowed to have a stall at the open day and they have paid in more than the share scheme. What would you suggest replace the funds generated then ?

Knowall tells us that Ken Masters is much more up to date with things at the club than we are and Ken hasn't said anything so everything must be fine. Why doesnt Gasincider take it up with his rep on the board who clearly has no issue with how things are run? Perhaps Ken is not/unable to raise some of his concerns in public. Precisely. We are not able to do anything with the owners having 92%.

Take a bow, I’m wiping the tears from my face now, made me laugh out loud with this post 😂👏🏻 @toteendbrian is his twitter handle, 12 months of all round shithousing on there 😂🙈 Not sure it's appropriate to ID posters social media pages, regardless of whether or not you agree with their viewpoints. Indeed and to use Paul’s favourite phrase, shithousing in the process of outing someone.

Bloody hell are we all that bored waiting for the season to start that this is even a topic, whether or not you agree with the sc, whether or not you like the board, roll on Saturday where some focus can be put on the team and this season. When it comes down to it this topic means zilch compared to how we get on Saturday and the rest of this season, and that’s where I’ll be focusing my efforts. Good post. I sometimes feel there is now no difference between our fans and the 82 ltd. Awful to read such palpable hatred.

Helpline were not allowed to have a stall at the open day and they have paid in more than the share scheme. What would you suggest replace the funds generated then ? And that is the problem KP. The SC and their members are living in a past golden era where they were once the young guns with a force for good. Times have changed, the club has moved on but the SC has been left where it started and It’s now turned into a bitter old boys club with a major sulk on. Loyalty I agree is important, but in business you cannot stand still or be stagnant. The club has moved forward commercially with TG and the SC should look to encourage a younger generation and appoint someone more dynamic to make the club more relevant to its support base. But the leaders of it in JC and KM don’t have the humility to step aside or relinquish some responsibility to allow that to happen, god forbid they lose their seats at the top table. I’m not saying we shouldn’t be thankful to such people, but when these people start causing trouble, they are tarnishing their own reputations and undoing any good they have previously done. By your comments below you actually think that rather than move the club forward, and if that means a change of personnel to make that happen, then it’s better the club stands still and falls behind, just out of sheer loyalty? Isn’t that how we have gotten so far behind in the first place? As far as I can see, once a person has left, the next person that has come in has brought fresh ideas and improvements on what was there before. And I have no doubt that whoever will replace screen soccer will bring a fresher approach including commentary (which I found to be annoying) I am not surprised that the club did not allow any other organisation to have a stall at the open day when Hamer has been infiltrating these clubs and using them to cause trouble. Like I’ve said previously, there are 25+ home games which draw a much bigger audience than the open day where the SC could have and make a much bigger presence and have more foot fall than the open day. Even their new website could be much more dynamic and interactive than it is now instead of being just a fresher news reel mainly of regurgitated information mostly from the club site. I have lots of ideas for it, but I wouldn’t dream of joining it whilst JC and KM are there because nothing would get implemented. It would be pointless.

Perhaps Ken is not/unable to raise some of his concerns in public. Precisely. We are not able to do anything with the owners having 92%. Correct. But you are 100% in control of your own club and it’s out of date and falling down with no idea of becoming more relevant.

The club didn’t get rid of Nick Day, far from it. ND stepped down on his own accord, due to his various business interests and also fancied trying his hand at a part time career in radio. He handed the reigns to his very capable assistant (of 16 years) Lance Cook.
