A decent 10 minute listen of our fearless leader, in the build up to the seasons opener.

Likes Joe Nuttall but couldn't afford to match Blackpool's offer.

GC starting to sound a bit like DC in his recent interviews when it comes to his budget and problems attracting players...
Not a criticism, just an observation.

Reality of life under this regime hitting home now. The Reality is we don't have a pot to water in and never had, overblown expectations by both manager & fans have got us to this financial predicament and only deep austerity will get us out of this..... sounds a bit like our last chancellor..........

Reality of life under this regime hitting home now. Reality of football in general. We are already maxing out SCMP and losing millions every season. A lot of our budget is tied up on player's, he does not want. That's our main problem.

I think it's more of the fact that GC first said when he came that the budget, stadium & training facilities were fine. Understandably he was probably just a bit excited to get his first managerial position.

Our main problem is not having a stadium that can generate any real revenue and losing millions will continue unless we get that sorted or drop to League Two or Non-League and compete at that level. Or somehow generate millions every year through player sales. SCMP is irrelevant at this level if you have an owner willing to dip their hands into their own pockets, which we don't.

Must be frustrating for manager's though, when player's sign elsewhere.

We all know that. As far as we know, they could be working on that. Pointless getting in to that again though. Know one knows what is going on behind the scenes.

He said in an interview recently what the toughest part of the job was, "time management" which I can only imagine during transfer windows

If they are working on a new ground, wouldn't expect to hear anything for atleast another year yet.

There will be a fair few feeling rather silly, if Wael does the (as of right now unthinkable) and delivers a new stadium.

Time is an illusion someone once said, which is quite apt, as they will need a bit of magic to conjure up a new stadium*. It ain't gonna happen under these time wasters. Edit: * and so too it would appear, a new training ground. Tick tock.

If Wael and co deliver a stadium, I’d happily eat my words and feel silly about it as I’m sure others on here would to. However, as of now I simply can’t see it happening and I’m usually optimistic on a lot of things.
