His League debut - Shankland has also already scored a couple of cup goals for them.

Sam Hughes, George Thomas, Darnell Johnson, Alex Pascanu and Layton Ndukwu are among those that could be set to leave Leicester on loan.
Sam Hughes and George Thomas could do a job for us. Ndukwu is set to join Southend apparently.

If we make no signings before the deadline imo we’re in for a long season, especially if Clarke-Harris and THD injuries are medium to long term.
Currently lacking a centre back with pace, wingers and attacking midfielders.

I don't get why as a club we seem frightened to play our youngsters, last night B'ham City gave a debut to a 16yr old, if he was at Rovers he'd probably have to wait another 4 or 5 years to make his debut.

Winger Layton Ndukwu has joined Southend United on a season-long loan after signing a new two-year contract with Leicester City. The 20-year-old winger is a former England under-17 international.
Manager Kevin Bond added: "He's somebody who can beat a player, somebody who can do something different, create and he offers pace."

Disappointing to see sides signing the type of players we desperately need and all we can announce is signing on RealitycheckNHS.

No, I don't think Kilgour is any quicker than Davies or Criag.
Menayese might be but he's nowhere near L1 standard at the moment.

Some area of the club is not coming out of this looking very good. Wael says it’s a top half budget, the manager says we can’t compete with Blackpool. I can’t imagine Blackpool’s budget is top 7, if so that doesn’t leave much room for manoeuvre for Wael’s claim. From my POV it’s not a top half budget, if it is then bugger me it’s been badly squandered. How can we have a top half budget and yet still lack a half decent creative player? As far as signings go I think it all depends on whether Bennett is deemed surplus to requirements and if he is whether anyone else will take him on loan and pay a sizeable chunk of his wages. I stand to be corrected but I recall Wael stating the playing budget this season was the Maximum allowed under fair pay regulations. I believe that is 90% of income??? If the fans want more then try more fans coming to games, spend more in the bars and buy more pies. You might then get your dreams come true live in hope
Therefore he is not putting the club into a threat of fines by the FA. (horror this means Wael is not putting his own money in as other owners do if not against the regs certainly morally wrong.) I don't recall GC saying he has spent all the budget yet. If I recall most managers would hold back an emergency spend for the January sales window Think it's only 60% of income, you agree allowed to spend on player's wages.

You are correct, but of course the football league turnover figure includes donations from the owners to the club and injections of equity, so we could always add a bit of much needed quality if the owners give the go ahead. www.financialfairplay.co.uk/scmp.php

Not sure on his pace, but at 21, if he is going to make the grade then IMO he should knocking the door down to get a game. Look at Rollin & Luke Russe, both looked capable a season or two ago but have not seemed to have kicked on. I’d rather see all 3 of these getting some game time with us rather than off on loan to non league.

A few rumours of jch going to Huddersfield for a medical! Let’s hope that’s false or we get a good replacement with some of the dough

I would start Kilgour alongside Craig if we aren’t getting another decent centre half in. He can’t be any worse than grandad tone.
