I hadn't heard of him, but looks promising with the pedigree, and young as well.

Welcome Ben.
Great calibre as a coach and renowned for working and developing youth.
Get the feeling we could get a few decent loan signings in from the prem youth setups.

Seems to have a good background in the game and comes highly recommended. Our job to get behind him now. Good luck Ben, you’ll have my fullest support.

Loved to be proved wrong but I think it's a really poor appointment.
Really surprised and disappointed.

I love this appointment and think it’s a great step forward.. The players will respect his background and premiership experience, we haven’t paid compensation and has great contacts. He will know all the good young talent to get on loan as there’s no money to spend. He’s going to be hungry for success and not a journeyman doing his rounds Up the gas

We're talking about someone who's never played the game and has never worked in the lower leagues. Coaches very rarely go on to become good managers/leaders as history has shown time and time again.
