Thought those in the know said we had already agreed to sell 3 or 4 player's, before the window opened?? That we wouldn't pay on now transfer fees and that we were not paying supplier's etc. Welcome to the club, hopefully he will be a good addition and give us more of an attacking threat. Him in the loan signing, should give us more of a plan B. We were getting results, but if a game was not going our way, we had no way of changing it. There were 100 witnesses at the Blue Diamond dinner who heard it. Except the guy from the other forum who was there but said it's all bullshit. And the other 99 witnesses haven't come forward.

Why not just wait to post that once the windows closed and JCH etc are still here? As far as style of play I sense (& hope) we've seen the last of 5 at the back at the Mem.

On paper it looks a good signing, always nice to hear positive comments from fans of the club you’ve just signed a player from, a lot of Reading fans speak really highly of him. We needed a CAM too.
Welcome Josh!

The ‘In the know’ supporters claiming GC left because he was informed he would have to sell Jakkola, Kilgour, JCH etc..will be devastated when it turns out we will merely release fringe players whilst signing young talented lads from championship clubs. One (so far) for a fee.

Kind of counter productive.

2 1/2 year deal When was the last time we announced the length of a deal?! So Barretts home. Did he arrive in their helicopter?

Tomorrow in the paint pot trophy will be a clue as to what might be happening. It could be that both the newbies play. If Reilly plays then he has to stay until the end of season. If he doesn't then he will probably be loaned out and we wont see him again. I expect Bennett to move on (hopefully) and of course is JCH off to Hull? Or has his recent injury problems put them off? Meanwhile I hope Oggogo plays on saturday

Good signing, delighted we've got a permanent face in the building! Reading fan I know said he's a hot and cold player but that his hot spells are excellent - compared him to Muzzy and reckons he'll be a good signing with a bit more consistently. Good luck, Josh!

If he Josh has been given a two and half year deal then clearly our scouting staff rate him (certainly the Reading supporters do), my guess we will still play three central defenders but there will be more emphasis on going forward. I think THD will soon be in the side because is very much a BG type of player - very dynamic going forward from a wing back position and just simply a superb player. AR also settling in well at RWB. With Gavin back we now have six strikers at the club including DM, my guess is JCH will be sold (I would nuch prefer him to be given a pay rise to stay) and two others will leave or be loaned out with one new guy (not Omar unfortunately) coming in if JCH leaves.

Not Omar fortunately. Looking forward to the striker signing now and a bit more football being played under BG. UTG.

Reilly's not really "back" just here because Cheltenham don't want him, I assume he'll be loaned out to another club given he's hardly set L2 alight. Sam Frost in the BP also seems convinced Adeboyejo is going back to Barnsley.
