Count me in for assistance of this message! Perhaps we can get a sign up on this thread? aghast axegas stuart1974 Gassy Anyone else? If tommym9 is interested, I'd like him to join. His insights from his interview with Hamer previously will be useful and he has a lot of reach with supporters? Count me in. It might not achieve anything, but then again it might. I can't see what harm raising our concerns can do, if it's done in a respectful manner. I think the club would find it difficult not to respond to a communication on behalf of the main fans' forum. I'm not sure how to set up a private message group on this forum. Perhaps a mod could advise? Good luck with the mod thing, are there any left? They’re going down faster than Linda Lovelace!

Can you got to Messages (on the banner), then Create Message (top right), then top left there is a box for recipients. Start typing a user name in that box and it will come up with suggestions for users. (Not sure that's the same if you're using a phone.)

Just check peoples profile because sometimes their username is different to their display name.

In terms of BG that situation will resolve itself at some point. He has won 1 game in 18 so far, does anyone really believe that he will still be here if that record becomes 1 win in 25,50...100 games here? Of course not he will be gone. I kinda like the idea of giving a manager time to build long term like in the old days, but only if you see what the manager/club are trying to do on regards to style, pattern of play and results. We see no of that since BG has been here.Even those good games that "we so called" played 4/5 games ago we were not thhat good and didnt have any style to our game. As for the ownership/ ground etc.. well the only way that will change is to be as nosey and vocal towards the owners until they are forced to sell or try and progress us with the Stadium. Ben Garner is the Tom Nichols of football management.

We as fans can wish someone the very best, and there is no questioning BG personally or his commitment, but persisting with the same thing gets the same results and is the definition of insanity. Much like Nichols and his quite frankly pathetic goal return. In my opinion BG has assembled a better squad than Coughlan, and the facts are he is doing a lot lot worse. We simply can’t carry on as we are, the mentality and form carried over to next season will see us confined to L2 before a ball has been kicked.

Up here two years ago Port Vale fans marched on the Burslem town Hall to protest against their owner and their club's lack of progress..He sold out to a local business couple called Shanahan. They are doing well now but Burslem -one of the five towns that comprise the City of Stoke on Trent- is a small dump of a town without a bank or even a cash point so wouldn't be relevant to our situation.Suspect there is nothing Mr Wael can tell us so is saying nothing.People seem impressed with Garner's signings but Abraham looks very weak and Barrett signed from Reading is fatter than Liam Lawrence.

Vale fans at least called out bad ownership and made Smurfwaite feel he wasn’t wanted and that probably helped them get regime change. Meanwhile here at the Gas Al Qadi gets an easy ride and probably thinks everyone loves him apart from a small lunatic fringe.

Abraham wasn’t a Garner signing. He doesn’t look anywhere near ready for pro football.

That's why a few of us are at the early stage of getting a forum petition going. Get a hundred or so on here to sign it, maybe the same from Facebook, and within a few weeks it could take off. Submit it to the club and they might sit up and take notice. Better than doing nothing.

Someone could set up private message group on here for that purpose to get some text together, I’d be interested in that. It could be an effective method, to get the owners attention, especially if lots sign it. Might not change things but at least it would publicly air some of the grievances the fan base have and allow for an open dialogue. Count me in for assistance of this message! Just my 10p worth here.
Great idea of getting together and putting something to the club. I think that's a real positive and shows that people still care and want to do something with/for the club.
I just think that petitions are confrontational and politica, it creates a them and us type of stance. But what the goal should be is for everyone to come together, share ideas and skillsets to help move the club forward. If we could form a group, outline an agenda for change with questions that we want answers to as fans. with a list of changes we want to see and be prepared to work with the club to achieve the goal that would be more positive IMO. Which is the sort of thing that the SC should do. I would be happy to work with a group of other fans to push this forward and have positive debate with the owners.

You need more that a few on here to get started, you need at least 4 or 5 thousand (what we are getting now). Personally I cannot see Garner getting the push because it will cost them money, plus Wael thinks he is the man, then there is nothing that can be done about it. I actually liked Coughlin, we were hard to beat and won more than we lost, we bullied teams, and that's what you have to do to get out of this league. Of course developing players and then selling them works, remember the fall out when Taylor went. I believe that in 5 years we will still be in this league and still at the MEM and still midtable

I'm especially keen to hear from Tommy either way because I seem to remember a letter previously to the club, which ended up granting Tommy his interview with Hamer in the first place. Gassy has now set this up. Anyone else keen on adding their input and perhaps contributing a few ideas on what could be done to raise supporter-held concerns at present?

Boycotting games is a waste of time for us ST holders. The club has got our hard earned money so we need to do something to make ourselves heard. From what I'm reading from different Rovers sites that some people will not be renewing their ST passes for next season. It's my first season as a season ticket holder and I'm having second thoughts about renewing!
