And there I was wishing you were writing that the excuse of a (news) paper had been banned.

Slightly interesting to think that another club chairman is asking the question. Even before this current crisis it was obvious things were going to have change now it’s inevitable. I can’t imagine how any of our bigger earners will be offered contracts when they run out. Unless they’d be happy on £500 a week

Unless they’d be happy on £500 a week I doubt that was a question, more like a made up quote to suit the hacks narrative.

It would be interesting to see a league table of L1 club's debts, we're probably only mid-table/top 10 in that table as well!
I don't really get the OP's continued attack on the owners, as I sense our only hope now of surviving the next few(?) months is from continued support from Wael, if the ALQ's do decide to pull the plug we may well not have a league club to support in the future.

Ah, but is it £24m? Who do we owe the other £8m to? Which version of the accounts have they used? Sorry, wrong thread. 😜

He’s good mates with JC and KM and a member of the presidents club. He’s hardly going to be complimentary.

What I find surprising is DC was saying on Gascast it was 65%/70% of revenue going on wages. So if we're spending that much, how are we losing 2.5m-3m each year? Which must be close to about 60-75% loss.

I seem to remember that only Coventry and Doncaster had similar or worse debts but I’m not posting that as fact but just something I read

Isnt a former board member friendly with someone at the Daily Mail? Yes, allegedly he was caught leaking information from an EFL meeting to them.
