I guess that might explain why JCH was on fire on Saturday and the rest of the squad seemed to be on a bit of a downer? Seems a bit of a sideways move for JCH, can they really pay him a lot better wages than we can but still remain within the £2.5m budget cap, not to fuss TBH as if he'll jump ship just to move to P'boro then he'll hardly be up for the cause this season at Rovers. Ryan Healey would be a decent replacement and could well outscore JCH this season. spot on,Healey much better player Don’t like jch attitude tbh

If he does sign for that rag-arseoutfit then I hope we return the favour and trouser a fortune for an absolute lemon like we’ve signed from them in the past.
Luke James and Tom Nichols (shudder)
And going back a couple of decades, a pretty run of the mill winger called Wirral Sterling. £100,000 they stiffed us for.

Yes saw that, but Posh haven’t got it on theirs, yet. But it’s not a great forum MKDons is better. As yet only rumours but if they get stronger then I guess it might have legs. Not the end of the world, time to get replacement in. The bottom line to me, and others will disagree, is if JCH doesn’t want to be here then let him go. For a decent price of course. UTG!

I know he’s a winger but maybe get Bodin back as he only has a year left on his contract and wouldn’t be the whole of jch fee

If it is true, after only winning 2 of the last 16 league games, can't blame him too much for wanting to move on.

Wasn't a big fan of Sterling (£140,000) but Channing was brilliant up to the point he signed permanently for £275,000. I still reckon we would have beaten Villa had he not been recalled.

Sterling’s default move was- receive the ball, run forward a few yards, stop, turn around, pass it back to the full back. And repeat.

If he goes, if we are demanding million or 2 for him, we really are poor at negotiating a price. Especially when Peterborough want loads for Toney.

After how the front three looked in the second half yesterday I'm less worried than I would have been. Having said that still need to replace the goals.

I don't want him to go but to be fair that would be a decent price for someone who's had 1 and a half prolific seasons at this level. The sums that Posh demand for their players are just ridiculous, and do the volatile market prices no good. Can't blame them though for getting maximum for their assets.

We have the advantage that McAnthony tweeted how much JCH was worth before Peterborough were interested in him...so we will keep him to his word!
