Some of these players need to have a long hard look at themselves.
Basic defensive errors, no fight, no creativity, no leadership, some unable to pass 5 yards to a teammate. Baldwin and Ehmer are experienced guys yet we routinely leave opposition players unmarked in and around the box, why?.
Whilst I agreed with the decision to sack BG, possibly needed it earlier, the players have let him down bigtime.

Jakkola, Tutonda, Nicholson, Hanlon, Daly, Westbrooke should be ok.
I would think everyone else should be less comfortable now.

As with any change they will all be worried. I’ve been fairly positive about our defence and individuals in midfield but on Saturday there was little fight and when we went 1-3 down some players gave up. Too many individual mistakes and players not taking responsibility. I’m surprised Ehmer hasn’t had more influence as an experienced captain. I look forward to seeing Davies back, one player with a fairly clear conscience I’d have thought. Everyone else should be worried, no matter how good, how talented players are they should always give 100%. That was lacking on Saturday. Of all the players that left us in the Summer we’ve not really missed them too much but Craig and perhaps Ollie Clarke would at least have brought some determination with them. UTG!

I know it’s not real life but on the new football manager game Davies is out for 9 months with arthritis. I would have thought that may be the end of his career if that’s the case. Anyone know of this is true FM is usually accurate with most things they do a lot of research.

I think sercombes high tempo game would have given us some ooof to balance out the sturgid slow play we’ve been witnessing.

I mean Garner obviously had to coach their defensive shape but surely one of them would spot that a player has lost his marker and run over to try and cover, even if they fail? I can’t help but think that teams embody their manager to a certain extent, look at Coughlan’s battlers that lacked finesse vs Garner’s philosophers who lacked fight.

And blamed everyone else but themselves for avoidable errors.

I’d be surprised if it were the case that it hasn’t come up before tbh. UTG!

Unfortunately, we’ve not seen that Sercombe under GC or Garner which makes it nearly two years since we saw him at his best. UTG!

Saw a video on Instagram today of him lifting weights, so I would imagine he's still progressing well with his recovery.

Ollie Clarke has hardly set League 2 alight,Sercombe has done OK there but we have much better footballers now so I have the feeling the right Manager with one or two tweeks could give us a really good side.It has to be taken into account that we were up against the worst weather conditions in the first half with a liability of a goalkeeper. We were doing well in the second half until the third goal killed us off.I just hope under a new Manager we will cut down on the passing in our own half and play the good attacking players with maybe a different formation and perhaps the new Manager will be able to get an out of contract striker. We can but hope.

Kilgour has been awful this season and I hope not but have a feeling he is a bang average League 2 centre half and has been over rated-hope I am proved wrong. I think all the players have the ability but would personally like to see Leahy and Kelly out on loan. Dont remember you or anyone else citing Kilgour as bang average in league 1 let alone league 2 last season ? He's a young defender whose had a couple of poor games in a side that let's face it has struggled defensively most of the season. Bit early to be writing him off

I swear that Cian Harries must have a clause in his contract that says he mustn’t tackle or, god forbid, head the ball. His body language is shocking. To think that he’s always in yet Alfie struggles to get a game. No wonder we can’t stop conceding goals.

Alfie is still young and his confidence has taken a knock for what ever reason, but to write him off is ludicrous ! he will come good again, I don't see the point of loanees like McCormack and co who offer nothing more than our own young players.

I'm wondering about Cam Hargreaves, allowed to leave Exeter under Tisdale (while young admittedly). I would have liked to see him given more of an opportunity under BG and hopefully he impresses new manager.

A week or so back when Garner was giving the injuries update he said Tom Davies was progressing well and was training on the grass. sounds good - or should we be worried about a dope test

Out of interest, regarding our loanees at the moment (JML, McCormick and Ozzy) does anyone know if we have an option to sign at the end of the season as I think I saw that all three are out of contract in the summer.
Next question, who if any would you take if we could?
