How can we have used up our entire budget surely if it means the difference between L1 or L2 football next season then Wael's got to finance the player regardless? If he's spending £m's on a training ground I assume he can fund one extra player, perhaps he can deduct it from TW's pay rise as he's got to take the blame for us having now having one fit striker?

I said before the season started that without signing a goalscorer we would go down and I stick to that. Hanlan has impressed so far, as has Daly, but I can see either getting double figures I’m afraid. Hopefully Daly is only out for a week or so. Either way, Tisdale has his work cut out.

Do hope we sign one, but the last manager told us it wouldn't be necessary so not holding out much hope.
I would say Rudy Gestede but I believe he's off down under.

There is a limit now though. So if we are at that limit, we can't spend any more, even if it means relegation. It's not the budget we set.

Our squad is also full, so surely you cannot un-register another player for a new one? At least not until January anyway.

Given we did most of our transfer business well before the cut off date I can't see we're anywhere near the budget limit. Although it looks like we can't make any changes til January anyway, which makes it even more questionable why we started the season with two fit (& inexperienced) strikers. Does anybody know what injury Daly's actually suffered?

We've no spaces in our squad as BG filled it with inexperienced CM's and LB's. Perhaps fast tracking Walker is our only obvious option.

Head injury according to the radio. Thought I'd misheard that when other posters suggested he might be out for a while, I assume all being well he'll be back by next Sunday. The comment on the radio was that as it was a head injury last Tuesday, he has to take so many days off - didn't catch how many days I'm afraid. Hope he might be available for Wigan.

Plus I stopped at the gate to the Quarters over a week ago. Two guys were doing exercises just inside the gate. Hanlan and Jonah as far as I could see. Jonah didn't seem very injured, although I appreciate that's not conclusive.

We could have 5/6 strikers on the books and it still wouldn’t hide the fact that Our midfield offered less than nothing in regards to service yesterday.
Upson, Grant, Tutonda, Hare and McCormick did naff all for 80 minutes and only woke up after swindon had scored.
In regards to back up, If Kieran Phillips has been recalled I’d just have him on the bench. The service to strikers is so poor I don’t think it matters what experience or ability the forward has.

Even if Jonah comes back it's still not enough IMO he's not got enough experience at this level.
I dont know who's bright idea it was not to sign an experienced centre forward before the start of the season. BG, TE or both..
At the rate we're going would have been better to keep JCH and lost out on the transfer fee.

After approx a quarter of the season Hanlan has 4 and Daly 3, so at that rate they could get 16 and 12 if they stay fit, which is pretty good. They can both finish well but from memory most of their goals have been self made. I think the rest of the team is a much bigger problem. Nicholson and Grant have 1 goal each from midfield and top of assists is Westbrooke with 2. For all the praise of Hare's crosses he has 1 assist in 11 games! This coupled with a leaky defence - despite having an excellent keeper - have resulted in us slipping into the relegation zone. If Tisdale is going to turn it around he needs to change the system. *These stats don't include the EFL Trophy

At the rate we're going would have been better to keep JCH and lost out on the transfer fee. He would not sign a contract extension,so we risked losing him for nothing. Selling him was the right and only option. But we should have signed some sort of replacement at the time, with experience of lg1.
