"You just said that so well I thought you might have heard me say it" - that really sums this bloke up "That's so good it must have come from me". If he's in charge we're only going out of this division one way and it ain't the top. Tisdale has made a career out of achieving nothing at this level of football then blaming the organisation he works for for that. Scary that comment isn't it! Yes, rather arrogant, the more I hear him the less I warm to him.

Geoff asked him what he does, and he replied that it sounds just like him. So its pretty clear he meant it was such a good answer to the question about him that he thought he might have heard him say it.

One thing PT is - is articulate 😃 Eloquent? Yes. Articulate? I'm not so sure. He uses lots of words to say very little of substance, imo. Ps, that’s not to say that I particularly rate him - far from it 🙄

Geoff: ... you're the motivator - who motivates the motivator when times are challenging for you? Who helps you through the likes of this? Paul: Have you heard me say that before? Because that's what I say. You must have heard ... I must have said that before to you. Geoff: No, I haven't actually. In all seriousness no I haven't, no, no. Paul: Yeah well, I've actually ... I've actually challenged the players with that. I just think you said it so ... so well that you've heard me say it. Geoff: No no no no. Paul: It's a challenge that I've set the players a couple of times ...

There are only two ways to solve our defensive problems as they are mainly caused by three players-Ehmer, Kilgour and Leahy. You either drop them or you stand by them. So far PT has stood by them. Tomorrow I would drop them all but he may (I think) give them all a chance to rectify Tuesday. He is right though that you can't coach them to concentrate on marking or reading the game and having pace. They either do it or they don't.

Massively disrespectful to Geoff who does a good job of articulating tricky questions to hold the likes of Tisdale to account! Win games and you can be full of yourself, with a record like his in league 2 he’s chancing his arm with comments like that. Fed up of him now, not that he’d be replaced with better.

Look at the glare in Tisdale's eyes when 20pence asks if he might need help (3:28). He didnt like that..

It seems to me when he came in he was quite bright and breezy and his persona suited the role as he picked up results and we all enjoyed his media quips when we beat Wimbledon and Plymouth. Now the chips are down it’s like his ego has become a self defence mechanism, it wasn’t there when we were winning but it’s now coming to the fore and giving him an edge that is hard to warm to. As Garner found out when your personality starts watering the fans off it’s not going to help your cause.

Yep should have brought on a tough bloke that talks like a football manager not a gentle bloke that talks like an I.T Consultant. We’re only going one way with Tisdale and that’s league 2.

All about opinions AF but I have to say I totally agree with LJG here (again only my opinion) but I took it in the exact same way as him; a "you got that from me didn't you?" genuine sort of question - he didn't even seem to be joking as he asked it again. Came across as very, very arrogant to me at least. Appreciate why others may not see it in that context though.

We're seeing a different side to him now, and almost all of it is a subtle "well it certainly ain't my fault! it's down to them, only so much I can do blah blah blah". Must admit - as eloquent as he is - I'd get pretty fed up of all his clichés and management speak pretty sharpish if I was playing for him.

Yeah I’ve never played for a manager who talks about the game in the way he does and wouldn’t want to. I hope he proves me wrong and gets the players organised and determined but I just don’t see it happening I’m gutted to say.

Do you think the players see him as arrogant? I find him slightly strange, almost deliberately trying too hard to be different

Some football managers are good at man management some are good tactically and some are even great at both but the traits Tisdale has that stand out to me are he’s intelligent, full of himself and a smart dresser. Is he the man to knock this squad in to shape get them organised and toughen them up ? We’ll see.

It's just whether HIS style will work for these players. Time will tell...
