I guess he’s earned that! Holloway has got far too much to say about the board and the general running of the club IMO utg Wonder what his username on here is then?

Apparently he had money to spend and didn’t!! Funny that, I thought the targets he and Tommy had led nowhere so hardly his fault he didn’t waste money on a signing for the sake of it. The plot thickens. No it doesn’t, it is quite clear. Or another take he had money to spend but Widds didn't want to complete any transfers whilst wanting the manager to fail. Sadly it looks like the two didn't get on and the club and team suffered as a result of it. Time to move on. edit: Sorry Harry, looks like we see it the same way. We certainly do Holmes. And Those comparing Widderington to Darrell Clarke is the ultimate insult to the great man. Ones straight and the other, well.

Tisdale said he was frustrated about the balance of the squad , what does he mean ?🤔Tommy must of said, stop moaning ,all the top teams have 4 left backs and 3 inexperienced strikers ! 😂 Moyes seems to be doing ok with only one recognised striker at West Ham who was injured last game.

Not proved anything apart from that we can win one game. I’m not after him proving anything personally, but I think we all know if we lost the next 3 the response would be very different on here.UTG Well he’s proved the players will play for him, so why risk bringing in a guy who they might not play for? Also, in fairness to Garner and Tisdale, would they have been allowed to build the team around a target man? There is something weird about assembling a team of apparently technically good players, two managers are brought in with a mandate to get them playing technically good football and then when the head of recruitment has a go he goes full Pulis. What does this mean for the “Rovers DNA?” If TW was part of the new vision to play flowing football, and he had a big say in recruitment, its even more surprising he was able to setup like that. UTG

UTG I’ve given my thoughts on this on the other thread. It sticks in the throat somewhat because if the way forward from here with these players is to go with simple instructions and hit the channels then it makes a mockery of allowing Garner to dismantle a winning team and water a promotion challenge up the wall. We’ve come back round to where we started under Coughlan.

INTERVIEWER - "It obviously begs the question, where has that performance been over the last couple of months?"
TOMMY - "It’s the $64,000 question isn’t it? Where has that been all this time?
At the end of the day I think clear planning, messages, knowing the players and what they’ve got and trusting the players is the most important thing because they can do it at this level.
The fans will look at players and think where have they come from and who are they?
But there’s a lot of due diligence that goes on behind the scenes here to make sure we give whoever is in position the right tools."
Is there anything in that figure he mentions? "64,000" Seems oddly specific unless its a metaphor I'm not aware of.

Taken from the title of the 1950's television game show based on the earlier radio program Take It or Leave It, which popularized the phrase "the sixty-four-thousand-dollar question."

I’ve always liked him but that’s based purely from our performances when he’s been in charge and his simple to the point interviews. If it was announced tomorrow that he was in charge until the end of the season id be happy with that.
