Makes interesting reading once again a player not ready 2 come on when one of ours got injured he says standards r slipping noticed he said this was happening before he arrived at the club

I am surprised Joey hadnt sorted that after the first incident. He is obviously being too gentle with the poor little souls. Come on Joey give them hell after all they are meant to be professional footballers. I assume he was refering to Hargreaves

Why does anyone think Ozzy is not getting a look in? Got to be worth being on the bench at least if for example we are 3-2 down with 7 mins to go?

I'm not saying the players are right, but surely it works both ways? The coaching staff, not least the manager, could surely say to the players on the bench "make sure you're ready to come on" especially if they're planning to make one or two substitutions. Communication could go a long way here, as it often does.

During these covid days they are seated in the stand but the few games I have attended at other clubs this season there has been a coach with them instructing players when to go pitch side to warm up. Subs don't spend the entire 90 minutes warming up just in case. |

Barton should of had this sorted by now to be fair , it only takes a week or two sort this sort of thing out surely? I managed a Somerset Senior side for a few seasons and even at that level my players knew they had to be ready immediately to come on if called on .

I'm sure they've been told after the last time and grown men and professional footballers shouldn't need babysitting. How hard is it to sit in your full kit and a nice warm coat?

You know one thing I find interesting/worrying is when Joey says he’s surprised how positive the dressing room is and the foot spirits they’re in. He paints that as a positive.. and it is, but I can’t help but feel with this group it’s a negative.
Am I being too harsh?

Why does anyone think Ozzy is not getting a look in? Got to be worth being on the bench at least if for example we are 3-2 down with 7 mins to go? In my opinion he’s a luxury type of player. A flair player and somehow hasn’t convinced JB. At the end of the day he’s not our player anyway and wouldn’t have possibly been allowed to play against his parent club last night anyway. We need players who are up for the fight of avoiding relegation to L2 who convince JB of this. I don’t think Ozzy has. A lot of players involved in the last 20 minutes of last night’s match will hopefully be looking over their shoulders. It’s probably good that fans haven’t been at games this season as a lot of us would have possibly been banned. The last 20 minutes have cost us on numerous occasions and we need fighters. |

I'd say so, a negative dressing room is the last thing we need in our position. Team spirit/ belief is essential. |

Against other clubs maybe he would have been on the bench rather than Little or Hargreaves but he wasn’t allowed to be on the bench against his parent club. |

Sounds to me Bartons a bit of a pussy, he is the manager and he tells the players to get ready for game time.
Whats going on with this so called saviour manager, maybe a job in Sainsburys would suit better.
