Ahhh...2 home wins and an away draw in 8 days. 4 goals scored and 1 conceded. And still they moan... Going round in circles it seems. Were we not at this point under GC. Good job we changed that. Someone's easily pleased Some of us are too long in the tooth to get carried away with what has been served up so far.

On a different note, the comments about JB promising promotion, if anyone has access to his book read the bit about his conversation with Peter Schnichael and the psychologists amongst us will understand. Couldn't you just explain it to us? copyright dear chap Basically its a kind of self hypnosis,.

For me the biggest thing i took away from yesterday was that last season we would have lost that game by a wide margin, this group of players left nothing out there and i truly believe they played to keep their shirt. No one could be accused of giving less than 100% and any critisism of any individual would be unfair, that in my book makes us fair and worthy winners. Evans i thought grew into the game and got better as the game progressed and i think when fully up to speed will be a very important player for us, we now have clarke and pitman who could play a half each with players with pace around them. Finlay is the heart beat and good to watch plus we always seem to have a strong bench. I think the future is bright but still a little way in the distance. On a different note, the comments about JB promising promotion, if anyone has access to his book read the bit about his conversation with Peter Schnichael and the psychologists amongst us will understand. Yes I recommend the Joey book. Absolutely a must read for people looking to understand Joey as opposed to judging him. Really great read.

Defensively We were far too open and allowed Crawley almost free roam. If it continues there will be more Exeter like trouncings.

Agreed, but I suspect that the problem appears more widespread than the back 3. I did not rate Garner but his Team have not needed to do an awful lot of learning or gelling to get off to a decent start.

Don't underestimate how important match fitness is and I would say there were probably only half of that team that were match fit. Crawley were a yard quicker, faster and sharper than us. But we dug in and won the 3 points. We played some good stuff, not much, but when we did we nearly scored. We will be a good team once everyone is match fit. Lots of promise and effort in that side. The only thing I think we are missing is that little bit of genuine pace for late in the game, if we had someone who could of run in behind then it would of stopped the Crawley defence pushing up and putting us under pressure.

Dare I say Rodman fits the bill? When he's fit?

Its September Why are the players not fit? Because we had 3 separate self isolations due to positive covid tests which took out half the squad each time. We had 2 or 3 pre season games cancelled which took match minutes out the squad.

Its September Why are the players not fit? A mixture of covid, illness, injury and not training with any club I suppose? Players like Saunders are doing the running for some of his team mates at the moment. I expect Nicholson will be out now for a bit, he hobbled off after that shocking tackle second half.

He probably won’t go and sign up to OTIB and start crying to them lot though , like someone else .......... Who did that? I think you know who I’m referring to , you shouldn’t have to look to far away from home , perhaps a quick glance in a mirror ....

That made me laugh out loud. Surely you mean delusion? Depends on whether someone has a closed mind or not You think? But in any event suggesting we all read a book written by this man on the basis of some amateur hour theories expressed within it, without any supporting evidence, is...equally nonsensical.
