I agree Bluestone, Coutts and Whelan are experienced League playters who, as they still consider themselves fit to play should be capable of dominating a game in League 2 and encouraging those around them.Instead they both look terrible and their performances to date have not shown any signs of improving us as a taem. In fact we are looking worse. I would go as far to say that even Upson and Grant last season were an improvement especially if you consider we were in a higher division. This player gelling nonsence was really shown up by a "novice" Manager who only had 6 players near the start of the season!

On another thread, Tom Mehew was in one of the boxes doing a bit of p r on Saturday...
Why not include him in the squad and drop Coutts? ...or Whelan?
Cam Hargreaves had a box to box engine on him in March 2020.....why not include him too?
We played so deep and off Swindon after the goal we scored, it was made so easy for them. With no changes, and Pitpony the lone striker (how often 1 up front work in this league?) it just serves to give Swindon more confidence....
JAB made appalling sub choice with Pitman, the whole thing stems from the manager.... BARTON OUT!

Dont feel either Hargreaves or Mehew are good enough. We just need to use the players that are part of the first team squad at the moment in a different way. Both Saunders and Collins are capable of playing alongside Pitman and pressurising the opponents. The midfield whether 3 or 4 could then push up further. Anderson could be employed as an attacking option out wide without the defensive duties if we play a back 4.

With Garner we got a glimpse of quite a few young players, if he had stayed would they have played more and improved? Hoole may be the one exception in is being played this season.
But Steve has spoken and Mehew is not good enough to come in for Whelan or Coutts!

With this manager I can not understand why we are playing players out of position like with Harvey Saunders who played at Hartlepool as a wing back he should have played up front on Saturday in modern football u need pace and he has that

Would sooner see a more dynamic starting 11 with Pitman playing as super sub as their defence tires.
