Bit of a piece that requires more questions that isn't it. Again, be lovely to hear a plan and where we are on that journey etc. I though that Frosty might have released the talk with Chris by this point, not getting much feedback from him on that right now

Mmm, doesn't hold back does he! He may well be right but not for the first time i do wish he kept these thoughts 'in house'!

Some of it feels like when you were a kid and had a falling out with your girlfriend or boyfriend and both parties didn't want to be the first to pick up the phone.
Individually it be like "they haven't contacted me" and the other is like "I haven't heard from them" blah blah.
You gotta wonder what the hell or why the hell the CEO hasn't been trying to pull it all together for the good of the club though. Why employ people in positions with the resources and just not fully utilise it. Why let there be no communications etc

If you took him at his word everyone he comes into contact with who doesn't do exactly what he says is incompetent or negligent or cancerous or whatever and everything he does is great and the only way forward. Either he's the greatest football personality there has ever been (looking at his record I'd suggest this isn't the case) or he's full of sh**.

Seems like a civil war within the club, which I can't say is all that surprising given the public shamings of his colleagues by Barton in the press since he arrived, however it is all extremely unprofessional on all sides.
How on earth can Wael and Starnes be allowing this to happen on their watch? It's madness.

This shows no one in a good light, no wonder we are struggling to sign a striker, totally unacceptable and unprofessional.
We need a good scouting set up, or are we relying on Eddie Jennings?
If I was wael I would call a meeting and get widders to identify the scouts at our disposal, or he can foxtrot off to strictly with kai 😂😂

Whomever is supposed to be running the club needs to get a grip of it
Joey might have a point but it Feels like now we have picked up a couple of points Joey feels confident to mouth off about something and having one armed tied behind his back.
Starnes, Widdrington, Wael and Joey need to get in a meeting together and sort their sh** out

Can anyone tell me how this type of stuff being in the public eye benefits Bristol Rovers in any way shape or form? A win against a poor Carlisle and a smash and grab point at Bradford and someone is on their high horse again

It benefits Barton’s agenda, to deflect negative attention / gain more control.

Sounds chaotic, as if there’s a power battle going on within which is no great surprise and probably confirms what we all suspected. But, is JB describing the actual situation or just his version of it? If we don’t have a scouting network any longer, why don’t we when TW is still there. Either way in the end it needs to be sorted by Starnes, CEO. If he didn’t know about the problem he should have and if he now knows he needs to sort it out. The level of incompetence by those who are supposed to be running and leading the club sounds awful. And in the end I fear where that will lead. Come on WAQ sort it out, it’s your money that’s getting wasted. UTG!
edit: I have no evidence but I just wonder if WAQ is waiting and the others are just hanging in for November when the court case open and WAQ will act and save himself a whole load of dosh. I may be very wrong but it’s been crap, albeit better recently, and WAQ is just waiting for an excuse.

Wow. Another bombshell from joey. If wael is putting all his faith in the joey revolution then starnes and widdrington have to go. To be honest. Never liked the pair of them anyway they come across like they will only work with who they want in charge and not the owner. Disgraceful either way that we don’t have a scouting network. Sort this sh** out wael 🤬

Wael has got to urgently get a grip on the running of our club before it’s too late.

He’s been complimentary about Wael, several other managers and most of the current squad. He’s not been complimentary about the shower of sh** who assembled a squad of no hopers (who the previous 2 incumbents couldn’t get a tune out of) and most pre existing parts of BRFC which we all used to moan about constantly. The good thing about fairly narcisstic and nasty streak individuals like JB is they don’t sugar coat sh**. This club has been a shambles for years. With or without Joey B, this collection of underperforming deadwood had to be cleared. GC got a break with JCH but other than that since DC left we’ve been completely mismanaged. As for JB, his own judgement of himself is somewhat immaterial as everyone as nobody tends to slate themselves. I gave up backing or berating managers long ago as I admit I’m not privvy to the situation behind the scenes, and I am not a football professional. However, this club definitely did need a root and branch review.

17 players he's brought in. Scouting situation can't be that bad.

He may not sugar coat anything but the trouble with people like Barton is that you may not always get the truth and instead the version that suits him

All very strange (as always from him), I think he must feel unsackable at present, hopefully a judge will soon see to that.

Scouting always seems a bit third rate. Many years ago when I lived in Staffordshire,Roy Dolling phoned me and said they were struggling so could I recommend any local lads who could go down for a trial. We played at Twerton at the time. I wasn't able to do that but subsequently when I reffed I did recommend a player to the club,Tony Hemmings who played for Rocester of JCB fame who we didn't follow up but eventually signed for Wycombe. Not sure how other clubs do things but friend of mine is employed by Exeter to watch their next opponents and submit a detailed report. We are not the best organised club so the promised overhaul when our owners took over is a long time coming. We have signed a few from Eastleigh over the years so maybe someone is out there doing stuff.
