Slightly odd complaint…..is there anyone else on West Terrace who was distracted by the bright (white) light of the advertising on the other side of the ground? Can not recall it being that bad before or it may just have been the style of the adverts shown but it was definitely reducing vision of events on the dug out side of the ground. Particularly as the floodlights kicked in as the light faded. Cheers Same in the South Stand. Utterly ridiculous how bright those advertisements were. Couldn’t see a bloody thing when the play was in that corner. Hopefully someone from the club will take note of all of these complaints?!

I think Alfie was brilliant. As he is one of our own he is underrated but you can see he is a future skipper. He talks to Taylor all the time. Finley messed up twice leaving Alfie isolated (once they were 3 on to 2) but he stayed so close to the man breaking from midfield that he had no space to pass and was driven wide and we got numbers back. Then he did another Cruyff turn when Coutts gave him a hospital ball in the second half, when he had two Northampton players right on him. How many diagonals did he put through to Grant? Grant MotM but great performance from Alfie. As one of our own he is very much over rated.

Was that a typo and you meant to type under rated, as when he gets his game together he's a decent no nonsense lower league CB. Not sure why BG, and earlier in the season JB, thought he'd ever be the next John Stones.

He had a great game yesterday, and appears to be regaining his form - he went through a poor patch, when it made me nervous to see his name on the team sheet, but credit where it's due. Shame that he may not get to do battle with Mr Taylor on Tuesday.

Great performance, by all, including us. Starting to look really, really good. The feeling is back.
What a lovely Sunday.

Just saw the highlights, the ground seemed like the set of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Brilliant performance, from Joey and all the boys yesterday, lets hope the team bring that level of intensity, pace and consistency into the match against the Ox on Tuesday.

Really enjoyed that game yesterday. Great performance from start to finish - second half in particular was brilliant.
Evans’ winner by far the most I’ve celebrated a goal so far this season.

Ref the issue with the advertising brightness as discussed elsewhere on this thread……a reply from Tom G as below…..impressively fast response to the issue from him….👍
I am aware of the issues with the LEDs this weekend which I have been told is due to an issue in not changing the brightness now the seasons have changed. However, the LED team are aware of this and have assured us that it will be dimmed moving forward so it should be back to normal Tuesday.
Onwards……😀

Couple of things I remembered about Saturday, but forgot in the euphoria of a win! As well as we played, our crossing up to the equaliser was very poor. Kept getting in good positions then a bad cross let us down. As Anderson picked up the ball for Grants goal I said to my brother - we need to start crossing better... and GOAL! The crowd has got a lot of praise, but it seemed very quiet in the first half even though it was a good performance (pleased they were clapped off at HT at least). Lights on and even better performance in the 2nd half got it to finally liven up. Let's hope we continue where we left off for the next game!

No wonder the club is hemorrhaging money.

I guess he means the LED board suppliers rather than us having our own team to look after them :-)

No self respecting professional football club would operate without an LED team!

On the subject of the ref.
Initially I thought that he completely lost the plot in the second half, which he obviously did. But thinking about it, he had one linesman who didn't understand the off side rule and another who couldn't even get a throw in decision right.
I think he decided that he'd have to make all of the decisions himself after the break which is why his performance was so dire second half.

No self respecting professional football club would operate without an LED team! Those are the people responsible for putting lead in the player's boots I suspect.
