Hopefully this new venture to the fruit market will finally see the end of the search for a new home for the gas. There have been so many false dawns since 1986 and hopefully this is not another
But my question is what sort of stadium design would you prefer? There are so many soulless bowls that have been built around the country and a few turds rolled in glitter. I would like to see the same sort of thing that they have built at Brighton or Brentford, something modern that can be added to if necessary.

Posted similar on other threads, but something unique not identikit with design focussed on acoustics and views for fans. Steep banks, safe standing, tight and compact with room to go higher.

It’ll be a soulless (fruit) bowl I’ve no doubt

I'm not a Bucs fan, but it is truly awesome!

My basic wish list is as follows:
The stadium to be completely enclosed. I do not want to be able to see views of central Bristol from between the stands. The interior and exterior of the stadium to be blue (and white). Design to be expandable (even if we start with a small capacity). All seater (I know there is a lot of support for safe standing but it's not for me). Fully enclosed concourse. All facilities within the stadium.
I would also like us to embrace the pirate theme within the design.

We 100% need a pirate ship within the stadium! Isn't that brilliant We could incorporate that into the design as the home of the young pirates with a pre match games room, play area, juice bar, food outlet and events area for penalties, keepy uppy and other activity related fun mildly competitive sport based skills below decks. Above decks could include a small family stand or, if we still run the Saturday morning football training, meal, stadium tour, meet a couple of players community sessions for different local schools teams before each home game it could house those school children for the match itself. Each week would be a speak like a pirate day when you’re aboard ship!

We 100% need a pirate ship within the stadium! Along with possible rail links there could be pirate ship travel to home game down the river Avon 🤣🤣

Mate of mine big Chelsea fan but comes with me regularly to watch Rovers and envies us having the intimacy of following a smaller club. When I told him the news he said,'You told me about having a new ground over 20 years ago when I first started going to Rovers with you'. Have to say I share his scepticism sadly after so many failures but we can but dream.Don't think the club have announced anything officially yet!!

I would however like to see this safe standing rail seating or whatever they call it. At least behind one of the goals.

I wouldn't mind a bowl-type design, but I'd like it to be a little different from the bog standard identikit design that Donny have, and that 3/4's of Home Park is.
Something a bit different to give it some character, like one or two of the stands to be two-tiered, and one corner to have an interest design feature, like a pirate ship as richmace said, or a graffiti-style Gas-related mural or something.
Also a focus on the angle of the seating, to optimise views and acoustics.

The era of soulless bowls seems to be over, hopefully the FM has some designs that separate it from other new build stadiums.

Personally I quite liked the look of the stadium that was designed for the regeneration of the Mem, obviously without the student accommodation. With the 4 stands being close to the pitch it would create a much better atmosphere than the bowl shaped designs.

All tunnels, corridors and changing rooms to be made with plenty of soft furnishings and no sharp edges. Rumour has it there is some court case regarding a bit of a 'kerfuffle' going on. Can't quite put my finger on where I heard about it though.
