Good interview with JB suggest he will take nothing for granted and I can see our next double Tuesday. 2-0 win for me with Elliott scoring. Just hoping the 6 teams above us all fail to win Tuesday One of them is definitely due a loss. I know they’re not in the playoffs but I think Swindon are going to be the first to lose several.

That’s 30 years ago this week Bags - 1-0 up at half time: Billy Ocean. Wow. Wow i was there Drove from Stevenage Via Bristol Good times i remember leaving Anfield in the coach and resting my head on the window watching the crowds disburse. The next second i opened my eyes to find that we were in the Holiday inn car park in Bristol and i had slept the entire journey back. i was shocked . In my 40 odd years of travelling to matches i have never done that before or since

Referee tomorrow is called Scott Oldham! Based an hour away from Oldham. 😆 The only thing that would make this worse was that his parents were from Bristol and they supported City.

Nervous ahead of tonight. Fortunately sounds like the team arent taking anything for granted like some fans. Will be a tough slog, hoping we can sneak it. Need 4 points from next two games, and a win Saturday would be more beneficial overall so lets not overact if its 0-0 tonight!
Like Saturday tho, I now always expect this team to score, however late it gets.

Random Fact: Oldham were in the first Premier League. Ian Marshall’s mullet still gives me nightmares. I’d always have five of him in my stack of Premier League sticker swaps!

That’s 30 years ago this week Bags - 1-0 up at half time: Billy Ocean. Wow. Can still remember the highlights commentary. "Burrows has got to be careful, he's given it away to Carl Saundeeeeeeers" Years later my work colleagues all from the other side got tickets for their journey up and took me along. Was the only one who said "until you score they'll be crap, just hope you leave it later than what we did" Annoyingly I was right. However it was a chance to go on the kop and have a smug grin with lots complimenting "Thought the other lot of fans from Bristol were better..... & they lost"

Come on Rovers, tough one again, no matter their position they won't be a pushover. Keep the hard fought performance going, bring the 3 points home.
Safe travels for those making the trip, utmost respect.
Up the Gas!!!!

Didn't one of them elbow our defender (sorry for not remembering names - Dean Saunders?) straight in the face and not even a yellow?

Should have got his marching orders.

Oldham have had some notable results against decent sides, a 5-5 draw with FGR, a 3-2 win against Port Vale, a 2-1 win at Sutton and a 1-1 draw at Ipswich in the FA Cup. Like most sides, it suggests they can match top teams on their day, they just have their day less often than most. That said, they've clearly improved and become more difficult to beat in recent weeks.
They've kept clean sheets in 4 or their last 5 league games so I think they're going to be very hard to break down. We could really do with scoring the first goal which would mean they have to commit more men forward. With their renewed confidence and a decent crowd behind them we could struggle if we go a goal down.
Hopefully, we turn up and play to our potential. If we do I think we can win a tight game despite Oldham's improvement.
