11-1 on PP for a top 3 finish. Could be worth a cheeky tonne Could be worth it. I put £100 on Rovers being in play offs a few months back at 14-1. It was the first time I’ve felt so confident in years. Feel even more confident now. Saw the top three odds. Look good to me. I see champions bet is 200-1. Now there’s ground breaking right there. Do you lose your stake if we get an automatic place or is it playoffs or better?

That would be a shame. I won some money at York races and reinvested it. I think it was getting promoted. In for a penny in for a pound. I got the impression that if we got promoted I get £1400. 🤞

'Wayne Brown's side will be looking for a third straight win on Tuesday evening, taking on Bristol Rovers on the road.'
See Akinde was sub Sat in their win at Scunthorpe.

Trouble is Colchester Salford and bloody Tranmere left us with 3 points - if we had been a little more streetwise think where we would be now with 6 more points. Forget the ex rovers connections let’s just smash um Tuesday

Everyone appears to be ignoring the financial implications. I do accept that this is true of most clubs but, having your playing squad overly reliant on loans whilst not developing any of your own talent (we appear to have given up on that) and at the same time losing £1M a year, in a ground not fit for purpose, doesn't feel very sustainable to me. Maybe it's just me, but painting Rosey pictures based upon half a season of decent results after relegation whilst ignoring all that's around you...well you reap what you sow. I enjoyed yesterday's game why wouldn't I. But looking around, listening to my fellow fans conversations, it did feel surreal. Oldie, yes, that makes sense. I was commenting on the short term loans we have in relation to our team and the position we’re in. The financial implications of loans are mainly positive. The point about developing our own talent is right but we’ve found that increasingly hard to do over the years. It seems most of our young talent seems to go and join other clubs’ youth schemes before even appearing for us. It makes money for us without the fan base knowing too much about it. Especially when the club gives out 1 year or 2 year contracts with very few longer ones. I wasn’t commenting on the big-picture stuff about BRFC being sustainable in a stadium not fit for purpose. That seems pretty clear. And whilst appearing to be happy about how we are playing at the moment with a chance of a promotion challenge might, to you, be ignoring all that’s around us, is to me, the life of a supporter of a lower league club. We get our positives from how our team are playing and where they are in the table. I don’t think we’re ignoring it all, just enjoying a few months of decent football after such a period of crapness. I don’t quite know what I can do except enjoy the better parts of the journey. What do you reckon, from a fans viewpoint? UTG! Yes, we can only do our but with what we have. To be frank, i don't thin we’d get that much of a demand to justify and 20,000 ground but we definitely need at least a 15K ground. I was a bit disappointed at the turn out for Harrogate and especially as it was dry. We do need to see some urgency on this though or many of us will not see it, not in out lifetimes and given how long the process takes

With 30 points left to play for how many do you think realistically will we get? I've looked through the tough run in we have and I've come up with 14! Would 71 points even be enough to scrape into the play offs? Imo, Rovers are currently more than capable of beating any side in Div 2, would not be surprised if the club deliver net 2 points per game = 20 in total.

The old holier-than-thou approach. OK then. 👍 No it's not that. It's how many times do you come on here and make a complete ass of yourself. It's boring. How about the old adage of attacking the post and not the poster ? I have been pleasantly surprised when popping back here, seeing it a lot better than it was. I think you just need to avoid reacting to certain posters is all. I juts take a breath and think, is it worth me getting upset about, works for me

My main concern is, how are we getting these players without the scouting and input of Wriddlington and Starnes?

In terms of FGR continuing their slide, possibly out of the top 3, I see that their game against Swindon on 26th March has been called off due to international call-ups meaning that they now will face us, Swindon and Mansfield in three of their last four games … all away from home. Interesting to see how they do in the next few weeks as that’s a tough end to the season.

I now just do not allow toxicity or nastiness to get to me, plus i learned how to use the ignore button, on all social platforms i use
