Interesting about the ball boys, wonder if the club could ask the league, is having ball boys who refuse to get the ball, and let players jump over advertising boards, on to retrieve the ball is allowed, because that could be a useful tactic in our last few home games. Remember Martin Alle tactic years ago , at Reading and I think Barnet , in that case , as soon as they took the lead ,the ball boys left the ground, I hate the tactic myself it’s bad enough with players sitting down for no reason, let alone ball boys, Must admit I don’t see it in the premier league Didnt see what happened yesterday, but we do similar things. Our ball boys are told not to rush if we are winning. There's a difference between not rushing and actively getting in the way. One ball went into the empty terracing for a corner. Ball boy quite clearly picked up the ball and slowly walked towards the gate leading onto the pitch rather than throw it to the Rovers player who was 2 yards away asking for it. They are ball boys, job - give the ball back. They are just kids though. If we had scored some teenager would have had even more abuse from 600 gasheads - although he was goading us a bit. That's a poor show from Carlisle F.C.

Can I politely point out that you didn’t lose because of the ball-boys. Their occasional slowness might explain the 6 minutes of added time which turned out to be over eight. Whatever time they wasted was paid back by the ref.

A bump in the road a game we probably should have won, but we came away with nothing. I could only follow on the BBC latest scores and judging by the stats and updates we were on top, but I sensed that the longer the game went on that we would concede and so we did. Unlucky yesterday we went for the win and got caught on the break that’s football. The only way to respond is to win our next game UTG

You did, the stats don’t lie they just sometimes obscure the truth. You couldn’t score. Unlucky with the one off the line through, just as we were unlucky with the disallowed “offside” goal.

Simpson their manager suggested on EFL we outplayed and ran around them Fair enough if that’s his opinion , we certainly had more of the ball but I thought chances wise there were plenty at both ends, and that’s where you score goals , or in our case saturday not score goals.

Mansfield Town must now be favourite for third promotion place. Only if they win 2 of their 3 games in hand. That many games in reserve often seems to result in a disappointing outcome. Better to have the points on board to a large extent.

Mansfield Town must now be favourite for third promotion place. Mansfield still have to play FGR twice, the results in those two games could be crucial, as could Saturday's home match with Northampton.
