He was 10/1 earlier this morning, now 16/1. Good sign for us.
Ainsworth is now 10/1, along with a whole list as per the normal merry-go round. All that will change I'm sure by tea time.

JB has signed a 4 year contract with us and he has already said he wants to be here and get us into the Championship. If they want him we'll that's their problem

Can't see any Whelan' and dealin' there. Any new manager going in there, could do a lot worse than bringing in Whelan as a coach. A surefire way of getting the fans on board from the start.

Unless out of work, then I’d advise anyone to think twice about jumping ship for a club that’s fired it’s manager just five games into a new season (especially when your current chairman has shown a lot of patience and loyalty). If Joey is as good as he seems to think he can be (not a dig, he just show lots of confidence in his methods and is clearly very ambitious), then I think he’ll want to prove himself a little more here first before moving on (I don’t necessarily mean promotion to the championship but certainly competing at the upper end of the league one table).
Plus Stoke is a sh**hole.

Talking of managers the boss of the other Bristol Team,Nigel Pearson was interviewed last night on Radio 5.Bit Weird as after two victories I would have thought he would have been positive but he said the win at Wycombe was a tepid game and dis-jointed performance or something similar. He went on to say other things about only being able to sign loans and the pundit said Pearson has a habit of erupting and doing something unexpected!!!! Really weird stuff but he clearly is not happy.

If they want him we'll that's their problem This is the sort of thing that all sorts of players/managers say.. and then leave as soon as a club offers them a deal higher up the pyramid. I'm definitely not saying he is going to Stoke - but in the unlikely event that they actually came in for him, I would be very surprised if he didn't go!

By all accounts Mark Robins the Coventry manager is being tipped strongly for the Stoke post.

Me neither But in the hugely unlikely event that a Premier League or Championship club came sniffing, I would be massively surprised if he didn't grab the opportunity with both hands. He is ambitious and wants to get to the top as a manager. You're very naïve if you think that ambition is restricted to just with Rovers (even with all his "Premier League before City" talk). In fact; he is on record saying he would love to go back to Marseille and manage one day. He's even given his latest kid a French name

Means nothing - no chance Joey is going to Stoke (or that they'd want him)
