For me it's a certainty and I know this post is a massive negative and we are still in September but this has all the makings of disaster written all over it and I'm not just talking about the football on the pitch. Take away our poor luck with injuries so far and look at the bigger picture and I see for 1 that JBs signings this season are his 4th or 5th choice down the line of main targets if not further 🤔2 and again I will be shut down for saying this but (Wael) needs to employ a man who has the knowledge of running a football club and who can make off the field decisions and push this club forward. For all his so say money and debt he's cleared for the club he has no sense on how to progress a football club and we/he is losing 84k per week at Rovers so where is the future for him and us financially? I can see Joey walking by January and personally I don't lay the blame with him for our poor start but Wael has been here long enough and I can't see him being any different than the previous when it comes to progression off the field. With many places to build a stadium and the option to redevelop our current ground we still see and hear nothing good and I'm afraid we are going back to league two. What’s your plans for now till next august. Hopefully not gas involved. Leave the room. Told my stepson today that he’s turned into 1 of them moaners I don’t want to stand next to. That went down well. Just so I know for next time… does my east terrace season ticket let me go in the away when not occupied?. Gen question.

....in a nutshell! Finally people are smelling the coffee! Thank God I don't have to smell your coffee. Brings to mind Baldrick's concoctions in the trenches of Blackadder. Sugar substitute?

As DC had a blind spot with goalkeepers, I think JB has a blind spot with defenders. Had we not have got Connor Taylor I don’t see us getting promoted last year. He’s spend most of his money on midfielders and forwards. I watched last night on ifollow as I’m a long way from home. We were never at the races. We lacked the quality to play out from the back, a lot of it was our back 3 playing tippy tappy.
It’s getting more and more like Garnerball Are you sure you were watching the right game as we had a back 4, two of which couldn't play that type of football if they tried. From the east terrace looked like a back three of Kilgour, Thomas and Gordon with Anderson and Clarke as wingbacks.

Where are these many places to build a stadium? I presume you have established whether they are available and affordable?

So your failed and laughable conspiracy theory can be conveniently hidden behind ‘land banking’ for the rest of time. I’m pleased we’ve still got a football club which is thanks to WAQ (that must qualify for hero worship). You presumably think different and would have preferred oblivion under Higgs. I have no reason to mistrust WAQ and believe he will be doing everything he can to take us forward, whether he succeeds remains to be seen. Who do you want to take over from the huge list of billionaires who have publicly stated their ambitions to take us over?

Of course it wasn't gonna be straight away, it's in the middle of nowhere!😂 Satisfied with existing is why it's all there will ever be. Worst stadium in the league and no plan to change it.

As an aside to this debate. Have been in the East Stand in the past and was there yesterday for the ffsc sponsored Greggs gas game. There has been debate on here in the past about why this stand could not be extended each side for the full length of the pitch. It has even said on several occasions that it can't be because the sight lines would not allow those in the stand to see the corner flags etc on that side of the pitch. Yesterday I had a good look and what has been said is a loads of bollocks! Sat right at the back and roughly on the halfway line, both corner flags and the touchline line can be clearly seen.

You’re so right of course. The countryside is littered with fields which have had £1/4m sports pitches laid, gyms built, changing rooms built, medical rooms built, offices built. It’s what all landbanking developers are doing these days! Who has said they are satisfied with simply existing? I’d like to think 100% of the fan base is happy that BRFC still exist and that we have a football club to support although you may be the exception. I’m equally certain that 100% of the fanbase want us to progress on and off the pitch - again you may be the exception. WAQ’s stewardship and funding represents our best and only chance of progress at the moment. Unless you can come up with the names of the billionaires ready to step in?

No way if that land ever came up for sale would planning been given for housing. Have you even been there? If you haven't, I suggest you do and straight away you would see several reasons why planning would not be granted.

It’s completely made up bullshit and left with nowhere to go he’s now hiding behind ‘landbanking’. It’s hilarious but also quite sad when some people just resort to making up lies to support a weird agenda such as his hatred of WAQ.

Just need to wait until the area opens up in a decade then boom. No biggie creating a few pitches to keep the idiots hoodwinked in the meantime!

Hence the silence.

After all, if urbanisation spreads further that way it would make sense to buy new land further out for a new training centre and sell the now high value quarters site.

Given yourself ten years breathing space, so you can tell us you were right all along. I would like to think God willing, I will still be here, 82 then, what about yourself?

There are definitely better facilities at Morecambe and Fleetwood than at the mem, they're just smaller grounds. Only Accrington and Forest Green compare with the mem really and even then FGR seem much more advanced with their new stadium plans than we are. Out of interest... How many indoor bars with seating and food available are there at Morecambe and Fleetwood ? I know that Fleetwood have a restaurant at their stadium which is open 7 days a week which produces income which is ploughed into the football club. I might have a look at their other facilities in a moment.

Clearly it will be when the area opens up and infrastructure is in place! Pretty obvious really.

A quick look on Fleetwoods site and they state they have bar facilities for home supporters and hospitality boxes plus a hospitality lounge. Just off up the M6 to check on Morecambe.

The M6 was surprisingly quiet but Morecambe also have hospitality boxes, a hospitality dining lounge and public bar facilities.
