Looking forward to see what Humphrey Bogarde is all about. Could be a decent loan from Villa

Can’t deny being a little underwhelmed, but then we have signed five defenders and with no disrespect intended defenders do not exite me as much as forwards and attacking midfielders. I thought there may have been a winger or box to box midfielder in there, but maybe there is a non contract out there that Joey’s eying. Bogarde looks a good prospect and the others hopefully can do a job for us either way Joey has freshened up his squad we’ll just have to wait and see if it has the desired effect.

Amazing that some are writing off the squad additions and the impact they may have, by seeing them play the square root of zero games for Rovers.
It must be a constant party at your houses.

January window is always like this, wrong time for contracts to expire and there's only any point in signing players who realistically will improve what we have.
The only conclusion is that those deals were either not there to be had, or they were but those players went elsewhere.
Move on with what we have
We won't get promoted this season so we spend then next few months preparing for next season.

We've managed to keep Collins. Don't care how we did it, but that's the best news to come out of the transfer window as far as I'm concerned.

My initial thoughts were a bit underwhelming, as I was hoping for more league 1 experienced players. But the two centre backs although young have played for their country and in the case of the England under 19 player, played in a European Champions final team so he must have good potential, you could say he is one of the best centre backs of his age in Europe, so I am hoping he can emulate Connor Taylor and have a positive effect on the team.It would be good if we could get an experienced centre back to play alongside these players to give them support and guidance. Anyway they need to be given a few games before their potential can be really judged, they can start by guiding us to a win against MK Dons.

Few people saying this kind of thing, I haven’t seen much of that. Some underwhelmed but not sure anyone has written anyone off yet.

It's far too early to be certain.
The players who have left were not the solution to our soft goal syndrome.
The players that have arrived may be better.
Alternatively, they may spur the existing squad to up their game.
As long as the reconfigured squad can ensure we gain 15 points from the remaining 18 fixtures the window will be a success.

For some reason (no logic to back it up), I've got a good feeling about MacDonald.

To be honest I trust the group we have already, I genuinely think they have just had a couple of stinking games and we would have came through it. That said I think our management team have earned their respect last season enough for us to give them due respect this window in identifying some players who needed to move on, and select a few who will improve the squad - and moreover give a wake up call to others that if you don’t perform as expected you will be shown short shrift.
Maybe the biggest achievement this window was in fact keeping hold of the divisions most potent attack, it really shouldn’t be underestimated how difficult that may have been behind the scenes.
For a newly promoted team I think we have done really well already, maybe exceeding most supporters expectations. That said, I think we have a good chance of finishing top ten once we get back into our stride. 👍🏾

What's disappointing is that we seem to have cut the wage budget, just when you'd hoped we push on with a play off push. Now it looks like just getting to 55 pts is the target.

Why wouldn't we cut the wage budget,it's our biggest expense,we can't keep shifting £2/£3m losses each year we have to get to a position where Income equal or exceeds expenditure or we have no club

Just as i thought it would be so either happy nor disappointed, i never ever expected 5-6 and i actually called it right at two, on deadline day. People have to remember this is Rovers and there is a finite budget. Talk of play offs was daft IMO opinion but then, if it makes some happy then good on them

Was chatting with the LFC guy again, this am and he said that Muscialowski was an option and he does not know why it never went through, he seems as disappointed as me as he said the lad needs some minutes

A bad spell recently doesn’t mean we are a bad team, most of all I thoroughly look forward to watching us play and enjoy the feeling at home games.

As i said, good on you but there has been a definite change and also being without Rossiter has left the team unbalanced and i can only say as i see. I watch via TV and i will be happy to stay in L1.
