"The High Court found in our favour today, agreeing that the conditional contract between Sainsbury's and Bristol Rovers lawfully terminated in November 2014.
"The judge made no findings of Sainsbury's acting in bad faith with the club."
"We understand that this is a sensitive issue locally and that there will also be disappointment as a result of the court's decision today. We will continue to work with the local community via our existing Bristol stores which employ over 800 people, and are extremely popular with customers."

Get them out of Bristol. Disgrace of a company. Surely nobody on here will use them again?

"The judge made no findings of Sainsbury's acting in bad faith with the club." istm the reason the judge didn't find that they acted in bad faith, was because she found that the contract was such that it meant that their acting in bad faith (after the cut-off date) was irrelevant.

Must think we're a bunch of dumb lady gardens. Interesting to see how much of the market share they lose locally.

Whilst I understand peoples views on Sainsburys, it is ultimately the responsibility of BRFC and it's Directors to act reasonably on behalf of it's supporters. I have kept quiet on this subject since it's outset but it's been clear to anyone prepared to carry out any basic research that this contract has never been watertight and that our Directors particularly NH and TW have at best been out of their depth and at worst been lieing through their teeth. I can only hope that's its the former.

Cut down on my visits before this, have now vowed never to visit one of their stores again even if it causes me a journey to go elsewhere. Hopefully others will vote with their feet.

Oh don't get me wrong, that spoilt disgusting company is to blame for this and I really do hope they get what's eventually coming to them, but I was merely saying that as far as this case is concerned, you really need to ask questions of our legal team.
