I know of a (non league gem of a) striker who scores goals, is physical, runs the channel's well and has bags of energy and enthusiasm. He's scored goals in conference south and national league. The best thing about him is he won't cost us a penny. Any guesses? Lucas

We need a Tom Eaves style sriker. If Ellis gets injured we have no presence up front.... Someone like Jon Parkin but fitter

DC stated on TTB on Saturday that he was in the market for another striker. From the things he was saying it seems he will be looking for target/muscle man to complement the other strikers. My question is, who do you think he has in mind, will it be permanent or a loan, and do you think Blisset is finished with us? there you go, a multiple question if ever I saw one! "In the market" does not mean we are signing anyone. , it also could mean we might be, Just a routine answer to a media question

Bolton fans dont want him - surely hes avaiable for a long term loan or 1 year contract. His two best spells were for us and Shrewsbury (first time round)

Lucas is ibjured so that bloke trying to be clever cheese 4head has come unstuck. Yes he is injured but he's 19 and I can't imagine he'll be out long. My point was people are asking for a untried non league striker who is doing the business at lower league level to add to our striker mix. We have him already. Let's not get someone else in before giving him a run of games.

I just don't want to get a similar player in without giving him a run of games.

DC has said in the past that some of our injured players do some scouting for him too.

DC clearly feels he's not ready, given that he was hardly scoring for fun at Borehamwood before his injury it seems he was correct.

I actually think DC is correct but you can't argue with his start there. 2 in 4 games? Something like that?

I missed he'd scored another one after his debut goal although I see, strangely, like Leadbitter he's done his hamstring so I guess that's him out for 4-6 weeks anyway.

Sweeping statement for a person who hasn't seen him play for quite a while.Regardless of what Bolton fans think Neil Lennon thinks he has a bright future
