listening to DC after the game never mentioned anything about that shower training today, thought it would be nailed on after that pantomime performance, and for once T boner ain't the villain in all this!

I don't actually think the performance in general was THAT bad. It was silly mistakes, didn't take our chances and Newport were better than their league position.

What would Kim Jong Un do? A stiff reprimand at least, I imagine.

It was just that Parkes and Nicholls had shockers and it cost us.

Parkes should receive 360 lashes and a kick up the arse

Parkes should receive 360 lashes and a kick up the arse lashes? I think that was the problem...

Two had shockers I thought most were off their game, how can fans not be worried about the home form and lack of goals! some are easily pleased on here, my love in with Darrell is diminishing gradually.

Parkes played alright last season tho? I think the f*ck up was equally to blame on tactics as well as individuals errors.
Hopefully quickly fixable!

Was it diminishing after the 4 wins in a row too? Our performances warranted more than 1 point out of 6. That probably sounds stupid but I think we will put it right long term.

Perhaps DC accepts the squad's not good enough so why flog a struggling horse?

Obviously the home form is a big concern, but the away form shows that the players must be good enough. It appears that the tactics at home are not right. I trust DC to sort this out. And hopefully yesterday was just a one off shocker.

Parkes played alright last season tho? ........................in the Conference. Twelve of our players in yesterday's squad were in the play-off squad at Wembley. Factor in Mark McChrystal who is injured. So the only three missing from that game v Grimsby were Puddy, Balanta and Monkhouse. We didn't set the Conference alight last season....we managed to scramble out of it. Still a great achievement but most would agree that we seldom played a team 'off the park.' So we are trying to do well with basically last year's squad. I think now is probably as good as it gets unless we bring in some significantly better players....and that costs. We will continue to pick up wins....but I think anything better than mid-table will require investment.

We had loads of the ball and created more chances but they were clinical and we weren't. Add to that the individual errors and you've got a 4-1 defeat. We need to cut out the silly mistakes at the back obviously and we need to pass it forward more and less sideways once we get in the final third, but I really don't see punishing the players necessary. We're mid table and doing alright.

Good points tho, agree with them.

We were best team second half, but yes mid table is about what we are now.

I know yesterday was a nightmare in fact it was comical no doubt "Hells Bells" will feature it on Soccer AM next week! Hopefully by then the other Welsh team will have cheered us all up a bit by turning over Bristol Sport 1982 LTD (men's soccer department) and the GAS would have have put things right with another away win on Friday. Up The Gas!!
