While everyone is waiting to find out what's happening off the field at our club, I thought people might be interested to hear a couple of interesting items from this years accounts.
I have to to say the relevant bits have been scanned and sent to me so it could be someone else with an anti Higgs/ board agenda.
We lost £950,000 last year up from £566,000 the previous year. However the most interesting feature so far is the directors holdings.
Now. Previous year.
NH. 18.4%. 54.2%
BB. 11.5%. 11.5%
EW. 1.75%. 2.21%
CJ. 0.43%. 1.62%
On the face of it, our board no longer hold a majority of shares. It begs the question who now has the 37% that seem to have gone walkabout. Holdings have reduced from 69% to 32%.
Of course they could be held in trusts, or even now owned by someone not currently on the board or any number of scenarios.
Curiouser and curiouser.

He still had loads?? He had them in his name his sons his buisness something like 18%. Are you sure this is right? Can you post a copy? If our chairman sold most of his shares without telling anyone thats bloody odd

What period are the accounts for? Do they miss any reductions in wage bill and the play-off dividend? 2. How do the accounts show the balance of the shareholding? I thought that there needed to be some indication if there was one individual or entity that retained a sizeable %age of the shares. With NH not having a controlling share, then perhaps decisions may be made a little less autocratically.

If anyone wants a copy of these, send me a PM with your email address and I will send a copy.
Have no idea how to upload the 30 page document to this forum.
I am staggered that this info is not on the EP website, it usually is, but I'm not really surprised.

I don't have the full accounts, I've just repeated the bits sent to me. Of course it's a wind up. Mind you, l have now been accused of being anti Higgs by Newmarket for daring to say NH has reduced his shareholding. I also said others had as well, so it must now be an anti board rant. Hang on though B.B has the same number as last year so I'm being selective in my anti board agenda.
GD's holding has increased by 100,000 according to what I have seen, so I must be looking to get GD made King of Jordan.
It's only the directors and ex directors holdings that are shown, the rest are shared by everyone else plus the supporters club who I believe hold just under 6%.
The accounts are to June 2015.

Don't construe the reduction in holding as saying he has sold them. He could have put some in a trust, though God knows why he would want them held in that way. I thought he might have sold them back to the club with money from the MSP loan, but the issued share capital is still the same so it can't be that.
As its three of the directors I'd guess ( remember...guess) that it could be that they are held by a new prospective owner. But it seems odd that a potential new owner would only take up 37% of the equity. Mind you, it would make sense if what NH is up to is a joint venture with someone. ( oh god, it's that anti Higgs rant again) mHowever that would mean that we would not be the full owner of a new stadium, and that would drastically alter the money raising potential of a new stadium as any fund raising through the new site would be shared with our new partners.

Not filed yet so not sure these should be in the public domain, maybe delete this thread? Once they are issued to shareholders, they are in the public domain. At least for all us anti board people anyway.

Have just read through many additional pages. It seems the directors have said our total exposure to risk with regard to the court case is £950,000. But I can't post it as it may be misconstrued. It is on page 25 of the accounts.
Page 26 shows that the directors past and present are owed about £2.1m. It also mentions the president. So even Obama is owed money. Does this mean there must be a Yankee connection to the takeover?
What is strange is that the accounts show the late Dennis Dunford and the late Ron Craig are still owed money to the tune of £61k and £79k respectively. It seems odd that these weren't included in last season accounts but there we are.
