Glad he got a good round of applause as he left the field. Gaffney is defo a better player Jesus, no comparison.

Matt Harrold played today like Matt Harrold has always played!
Lockyer & Mecca kept him quiet!

Why's he gutted? They got what they deserved. Their main achievement was dragging us down to their level for nearly an hour. Pretty mediocre team. Ripe for relegation next season.

Thought Harrold played better today than he ever did in a Rovers shirt. Won most things in the air, several good flick ons but nobody on their side capable of taking advantage and one noticeable thing, he hardly gave a freekick away or got caught offside. Both things he did in abundance when playing for us!

Both things he did in abundance when playing for us! To be fair, I think that he was a marked man when he played for us and he was often penalised unfairly

I thought Harrold looked as good / sorry Rubbish as he was for us. The shirt pulling with him and locks and macca tho macca gave as good in the shirt pulling was ridiculous. Must have been his 1st shot in at least 10 games at the mem.
Didn't deserve a clap.

Why do you feel you need to say that? He's gutted because they lost. If we got beaten 3-0 away and deserved to lose, wouldn't you feel gutted? Nice touch to add his comment about Rovers fans and the club in his tweet. I can never understand the Harrold haters on here. He wasn't Alan Shearer but he did his best at a difficult time for the club.

I went to the away game this season and their tiny little ground was like a morgue as far as home fans atmosphere was concerned, and we made up nearly half the crowd. I tell you, I'd much rather have Grimsby in the league than them ,a proper league club with proper fans.

I thought Harrold had a decent game - won everything in the air.

harrold scored 18 goals in 44 League Two matches in 2011/12.
so he was clearly a sh** striker.
Just like Taylor, who scored 18 regular season goals in 45 Conference matches in 2014/15.
He was also sh** and still is.

Just another O'Toole to me and Matty was worse, he was a badge kisser. I remember at FGR away in the play offs and Peter Parkes (Tom's Dad) said to us that his son had offers to stay in the league but Tom said he wanted to put it right and help get us back in the league...............Mildy must have felt the same but Harrold never and he deserted the sinking ship. He talks about being close to friends and family, again Parkes sacrificed his home town of Mansfield up North where his new born child is today and stayed with us. I never got the Harrold love in, just because he had a name the same as Jarman he got a special song. Of his last 9 starts at the Rovers we lost 8, on the one game we won it was 1-1 at Wycombe and he was subbed for Beardsley and then we went into win 2-1! I won't boo him tomorrow but I certainly won't clap him, he's getting no special treatment from me. if this is your opinion on someone as benign as harrold, I'd hate to hear what you think of David Pipe, Justin Richards, Mickey '£250,000 down the drain' Evans, or Robbie Ryan. Can't see how you can link a bit of gossip with 'Tom's dad' to an ex-player. or why.
