Always came across as a straight talking honest pro. Never one who lacked effort during the best part of 3 seasons with us.
I was personally not a fan as I feel that his attributes as a target man largely contributed to the route one football seen for a portion of his time at the Mem.
We will do well to show him respect by having our centre backs keep him in their back pockets. Who knows, perhaps he will get a clap when he comes off at the end of the game after having a quiet afternoon?

Didn't rate him and found him boring to watch. Decent enough bloke though. No reaction from me unless he winds us up!

He has to be one of the worst football players to grace our shirt (albeit a short loan spell) jeez when I think back to that season it quite literally sends shivers down my spine and makes me feel a little sick ! I remember his debut a sh**ty centre midfielder playing out on the left wing, John ward had a lot to answer for!!!

Absolutely hated watching us when Harrold was on the pitch. Just awful. How he ended up at a league 1 club baffled me. Should have stuck to goal keeping or being a prince Harry look alike.

I clapped him at there ground and I'll clap him again Saturday, may not have been a favourite but always gave his all and scored a good few goals in the process, also left the club to take a good opportunity, no complaints from me

Just another O'Toole to me and Matty was worse, he was a badge kisser.
I remember at FGR away in the play offs and Peter Parkes (Tom's Dad) said to us that his son had offers to stay in the league but Tom said he wanted to put it right and help get us back in the league...............Mildy must have felt the same but Harrold never and he deserted the sinking ship. He talks about being close to friends and family, again Parkes sacrificed his home town of Mansfield up North where his new born child is today and stayed with us.
I never got the Harrold love in, just because he had a name the same as Jarman he got a special song.
Of his last 9 starts at the Rovers we lost 8, on the one game we won it was 1-1 at Wycombe and he was subbed for Beardsley and then we went into win 2-1!
I won't boo him tomorrow but I certainly won't clap him, he's getting no special treatment from me.

In a team that was probably the worst Rovers side I have ever seen one of the only guarantees was Harrold would give 110%. He also popped up with a few goals...definitely a clap from me.

Harrold never and he deserted the sinking ship. Did DC even want him to stay? Read his interview, it didn't matter if DC wanted him to stay or not. Why do I keep hearing about 110%, it's a given in football as we have today with DC's side but he was 110% in staying like Parkes and Mildy was he? He had one good season under Buckle which included penalties. We beat Plymouth who were the form side of the league on the Saturday and Beardsley scored, 3 days later he was dropped for Harrold and we lost 1-0 to Accrington. Some of you lot have short memories, I will never forget the players who stayed to get us out of non league football. Can I REMIND you Harrold was actually given a new one year deal straight after the Mansfield game because his contract triggered it. He never even had to beg us to stay, he had his security but still choose to leave, Mildy didn't.

Parkes & Mildenhall had contracts for last season Harrold didn't?,only Brown actually signed a new contract to stay in the Conference. Also Harrold was never the same for us after he did his ACL before that he nearly got 20 goals (inc pens!) in one season.
