I cannot see why they cant put a solid roof on the tent, at least we would here the supporters a bit more, AND why don't we put the kids and family's there and extend the Blackthorn "round the corner". At least the little ones would not have to stand for 2 hours and listen to some pretty disgusting language

Turn the family stand into a seated stand ?

Every year that we stay at the Mem the more I want us to stay and redevelop. Football isn't just about the match it's about the whole day and our situation on the Gloucester Rd is one of if not the best situation socially for any club in the country. UWE will be the opposite and if any of you think it'd be better for parking you are going to be in for a big shock when you're stuck in a queue to get on the ring road an hour after the end of the game. Strange you mention parking. There will be a residents parking scheme in operation if we remain and we will not be able to park within about 2 miles of the stadium. How do you suppose the older supporters will deal with that? How will we develop the tent end into a permanent structure when a huge retaining wall would have to be put in to hold the weight of any structure above ground? You got it, you take away the garden behind it. Perhaps the current owner may not be too happy about that. Then there is the issue of loss of light as well. I could go on, but this has been argued to the n th degree on here enough times. It is so obvious we have to move. Can you point out the evidence that there will be a residents parking zone that will affect match day parking were we to stay and redevelop the Mem? There is no such restriction around the redeveloped Ashton Gate so my assumption is there wouldn't be around a redeveloped Mem either.

Southville, bedminster east ,spike island and hot wells have rpz . However they operate 9-5 mon-fri ,bank holidays are free. Passes are charged depending on your vehicle's emissions. Lowest being free. The more cars the house has the higher each pass costs. All houses are entitled to 50 free visitors passes a year more are available at £1 each. The point is to encourage people from the suburbs to either move closer to their work or use public transport/cycle. The parking schemes do not make any difference to parking at Ashton gate .....should they though ? Do locals feel annoyed they may have to pay to leave their own car outside their house when they walk to work but someone who lives miles away can park there free on a match day ?

It was part of the original permissions for the redevelopment, but I can't be arsed to try and find it now as its not gonna happen.

The agreement was that Rovers paid BCC £100,000 to set up the RPZ. Each year £20,000 was due for enforcement and £20,000 for administration - if average attendances for that year, for football or rugby, exceeded 4,950.

Whatever next Well I did hear a rumour that some people threw some confetti in the air at a game last season too. I mean swearing is one thing but confetti is just taking the Dam water. At this rate we'll be docked points, won't win promotion and won't overtake that bunch of inbred sister shaggers on their way down.

Yeah I thought of this too. They didn't even have it the season they went into the Prem so must have been pretty easy to sort. Surely it can't be classed as a permanent structure if it's not built into the ground?

If I ever see anyone ripping up half time draw tickets and throwing them in the air I will most definitely be reporting it to the nearest steward , you could have someone's bloody eye out!

Plus under NH attendences were mainly in a decline, hence why the Guinness Stand was taken down, so there was little demand for ground improvements.

There is chat in Southville of introducing a match day RPZ that would run on a Saturday 1 till 5 to try and discourage people driving to games
