There is chat in Southville of introducing a match day RPZ that would run on a Saturday 1 till 5 to try and discourage people driving to games They introduced that when I lived in Brentford. Great for residents, sh** for footy fans

I think if we took off the canvas and put some corrugated sheeting, that doesn't make it permanent. It has to have foundations to be permanent

There is chat in Southville of introducing a match day RPZ that would run on a Saturday 1 till 5 to try and discourage people driving to games As the fifth richest economy in the world, the tax payer should be called on to discourage people travelling to games in the area. Every time there is a game down there, the crime rate drops 45% in the area. WHAT ARE OUR POLICE DOING, drinking bloody tea I'll wager.

Having gone to the Mem this morning it looks no different to how it usually does. Tbh I couldn't really care about a return of the Guinness stand. I'm more concerned about modernising the bars etc and putting some bloody air con in them. If they were more comfortable it would make such a difference to the match day experience.

With the UWE announcement apparently due next week I can't see anybody is going to spend big money on air con, plus only many games a season would it be used anyway given most games are played in the winter months?
The advantage of the Guinness Stand is it allows more seats to be sold which means more income for the club/bigger attendences.

Where the greens one used to be. I looked at the South Stand and did not notice anything different. Happy to be proved wrong.

It sounds like the other think that needed to be discussed was whether we could increase capacity i.e. Guinness Stand. Interesting how the safety manager went just days before this meeting.

Perhaps he either overlooked approval was required or told the club a meeting had been set up, as it also seems a bit odd money was spent moving the police command box before approval was sought/given and that the changes were announced before approval was formally given, the club will look a bit stupid now if approval is rejected.

I was there last Friday to get my ticket for the Cardiff fixture, I thought the pitch looked in excellent condition.
Didn't really look at much else though, too busy thinking back to May and the last time i was there.

Going slightly off topic but this has to be a big factor in our success over the past 2 years. No coincidence since the rugby left, our home form has been immense.
