That's why people are silly when they judge the results,or even the performances on these ten games. Ok if we were getting beat 10 -0 each game to the likes of WSM,Bath or Mangos then ok there would be some answers needed but it's pre season training and most of the players have been playing with 50% energy left in the tank for the matches due to the effort used on the training ground to pick fittness. How anyone could question this group or DC Is behond me.

Yeah, I do trust DC, of course, but given what we've done the last couple of years after slow starts, just think what we could do with a good start.

Yeah, I do trust DC, of course, but given what we've done the last couple of years after slow starts, just think what we could do with a good start. I think that's more down to getting used to the league though, rather than not being prepared. Put it this way, if we'd had got off to a good start in the Conference we'd have smashed the 100 point barrier, and if we'd got off to a good start last season we'd have probably beaten Northampton to the title. Getting off to a slow start and getting 85+ points two seasons on the trot shows how good the manager and squad is.

Starting XI: ______________Puddy ______J.Clarke_Lockyer_Hartley Broom____________________Brown _____Lawrence_Clarke_Sincs __________Taylor___Harrison Locks and Hartley getting through unscathed is more important than the result today. Very pleased to see them - especially lockyer - starting. Puddy has been getting a lot of game time -DC trying to work out if he can cut it as a no. 2? Could also be a 4 4 2 with this side with broom and Lawrence on the wings. Hope the latter has a good game here UTG

If you want to turn up, pay your money and leave regardless of anything then that's also your choice. Judging results of friendlies or competitive matches is part and parcel.

I know it's only a friendly but I think it's important we put in a decent performance today, being our last friendly and after the last couple of results.

Either way, that team is screaming out that we need to sign a first choice GK and a CM (IMO). Even with Lines back, for me our CM options are average at best for L1. Fairly happy with our defence and attack.
