Just back from today's match. Think I witnessed some of the most moronic behaviour I've seen at a match. A group of neanderthals arrived just as the match was starting and stood in the fan free walkway on the terrace behind the goal. Nothing new there, happens all the time, people who have taken their places in plenty of time often find their view obscured. He then proceeded to put up a large golf umbrella, totally obscuring the view of the people behind. When a gentleman pointed this out ,perfectly civilly, brolly man told the affected people (including three females) to f...k off somewhere where they could see! He was then backed up by about six equally moronic and aggressive mates. They proceeded to threaten anyone who took issue with them. I'm sorry, but if those are gasheads I'm ashamed. As a side issue, why are these umbrellas allowed in the ground? If I'm not allowed to bring a carton of drink in because it could be used as a weapon where is the sense of allowing a 3 foot metal spike. And before anyone asks, yes I did complain to both stewards and police....... not interested.

It's the modern world.
"I've got rights. It's raining so I've got the right to put my massive golf umbrella, and f*ck the rights of everyone behind me to watch the match. And if you dare challenge my right to do whatever I want, regardless of how it affects others, I'll tell you where to get off."
I f*ckin hate selfish thoughtless people, and feel your pain mate.

Are you for real? This was rain the likes of which most people have never seen before, that caused the match to be abandoned, local streets flooded, and Rovers fans stripping off in launderettes to dry their clothes, and you're meaning about a f**king umbrella.

So where are the photos then ? Did any those who spend most of a game staring at their screens take any snaps of said a55h0le(s), even from a distance ? I thought that's what social media was all about. Film the unacceptables and shame them! Take pictures, send them to the Police and the Club and demand action be taken. And you only have to take a short drive around Bristol to encounter some extreme law-breaking and realise that there are no Police around, and the wrong'uns know it. The police will only do anything if mob-handed and heavily tooled-up. You know all those violent gangster video games ? - coming to a street near you soon in real time.

Some people are just ignorant pricks. Unfortunately that seems to include some of our own supporters.

Thank you Tony and Gorden for your help in making this a lawless Country/World.

Nobody should take an umbrella into a crowd at an event when its uncovered and could rain. If you dont like rain get a covered seat or dont go, its just selfish and really annoying and take about 1 brain cell to calculate that. Id ban umbrellas from football grounds, simples.

I thought they were banned. If you can't take a plastic bottle of water in how can it be legal to take an umbrella in ??!!
