Absolutely disgusting. And to think the game kicked off early due to the police! If it had been a 3pm KO they could have delayed it for 30 minutes and then pitch would probably have been ok.

Plus the Swindon announcer told us to keep our stubs for the re arranged fixture!
Maybe if they said a fiver to cover police costs then fair enough but no chance the full ticket price covered just that.
Dirty thieving club.

This to me is a blatant attempt to stop Rovers supporters going & hence give Swindle an advantage. Wonder if Rovers could charge their fans £100 each for the return fixture.

Don't go. The boys can still do the business and STFC have to foot the bill for a 'Category A' game with no away fans.

Funny how they've near enough f*cked over their own supporters who aren't season ticket holders here too!

I appreciate costs but how can a freak of nature and less than an hour played warrant full cost for the replayed match. Swindon you are a disgrace, they receive double the money from our fantastic support! They are below Wycombe in my opinion now. Surely as a club we can appeal or question their ethics.... Sorry it has rubbed me up the wrong way especially as we all got soaked to the skin.. Swindon fan here and I have to say I'm quite shocked and angry that our club is charging the full amount to both sets of supporters and has caused outrage in local paper. Your support was fantastic as well as putting thousands in Mr Powers pocket and the decent thing would be to at least let the fans who stood on the Stratton bank in for free and if not all of you with ticket stubs as there was less than 60 minutes on the clock and failing that let you all in at a reduced cost. A little compassion would go along way and belive it or not there is alot of support and anger here and a lot of fans contacting the club on your behalf

Was looking forward to going to the rearranged effort but they've got no chance now. Can only hope we double the away ticket prices for their return to the Mem later in the season.

LOL yes. I don;t think I'll be able to go to many games this season. that's a disgrace, especialy as swindon ST holders get in for free. I used to call them Swinedon Town, now I'll switch to Swindle Town. Not a total surprise though. Do none of their supporters wonder why Lee Power, a man with no connection to the club, just rocks up and become a very mouthy chairman / owner?

Out of interest, what did our friends at Wycombe, or Crawley for that matter charge for the rearranged fixture after the first game was abandoned?
Secondly, I see that police were drafted in from as far afield as Sussex for Saturday's game. I can see (unfortunately) there is a need for increased police presence, but this has to be an over-reaction.

Strange how the police had to escort us to the ground from train station (half didn't know the way)(police that is)but going back when it was watering down didn't see one in sight except transport police at station who were sound

Crawley 'slashed prices' to £5/£3 but gave those with original voucher a free hot drink, whilst Wycombe gave a complete refund or new ticket. There is a rule for cup games stating a 50% deduction in prices is required, however no such regulation exists for the League. Completely down to the club involved's own discretion.

Way over the top with the policing and to be honest the Swindon lot that I got chatting to whilst waiting for a burger were all sound , shan't be attending the replay as like others have said to not even get a discount is quite greedy! Anyway UTG !!!!!!!

a public relations disaster for swindon town, you would have though a half price compromise for people showing there ticket stubs would have kept everyone onside.

Also do they not just cover police costs that are inside the ground?

I think we should all just turn up without tickets and stand outside, Swindle would still have to pay the policing costs etc but would get no extra revenue from us, and i also think the amount of police was well over the top don't think i have ever seen that many police at trashton when we have played there. utg !

I don't get the logic of this, we'd be punishing their fans for a decision which was nothing to do with them, and which they are also complaining about.
