maybe hes right but quite a few of us decided to go on what turned out to be a great night, your total right not to go but you dont need to trouble the people that went that was mine and the others absolute right. Loved tonight, bumped into PhilBemmy, top bloke! DC left his dug out just before kick off to applaud us and made a special effort to salute us at the end. Some people miss another point, the players really celebrated with the fans, it meant a lot to them. They must have been buzzing in the changing room, imagine celebrating in front of 34 like Accrington bring? And this will take them into Saturday flying now with confidence. Favourite song tonight "2-1 and you paid twice, 2-1 and you paid twice 😂😂😂😂😂" Lee Power has my £25, but I will remember tonight for a long time, he doesn't own my memories with my 70 year old Father. Paul good to see you again last night, well summed up on DC and the players. Bring the old man into the bar Saturday for a quick glass before you head home We we need to put all the bickering as fans behind us now, we all had reasons for attending or not but at the end of the day we are all Gasheads. lets get behind them United again on Saturday

Great performance from the boys tonite, very glad I went to the game. But let's just get back to supporting our top club, starting Saturday 👏

Good to see a vastly reduced number of away fans last night although 400 was still too many in my opinion. It was really difficult not to overcome my urge to go to the game but I am glad I managed to resist the temptation! The way I see it, there are 46 games in a season so missing one isn't such a big deal if it teaches Power a lesson and makes him think twice next time. Thankfully away fan receipts of £10,000 (400 x £25) is way less than if he charged £10 and about 2,000 fans would have turned out which would have generated gate receipts of £20,000 so I think he learned his lesson. Looks like a lot of home fans stayed away too.
Anyway onwards and upwards - look forward to joining the full complement of Gasheads at the Mem on Saturday and Brammall Lane next Tuesday

I think Karma told Lee Power exactly how it saw his decision to charge fans full price again when it dished out that own goal

Well done to those who wanted to go but resolved to stay away to make a point for the benefit of the bigger picture. I think some of those who went are missing the point that if everyone had the attitude of "it's my right to go, why shouldn't I?" then the cockney git's pocket would be considerably fuller than it is now and he'd be laughing all the way to the bank, regardless of "his" team's defeat. Well done to the majority for standing by their principles, even if it meant missing out on a great night.

"The way I see it is that if I was a Bristol Rovers supporter I wouldn't be going to the game on a point of principle. We took 2,800 fans there last time and as far as I am aware we have sold 300 this time. Our fans aren't mugs and the proof will be in the pudding. " maybe hes right but quite a few of us decided to go on what turned out to be a great night, your total right not to go but you dont need to trouble the people that went that was mine and the others absolute right. I'm not massively fussed either way, I just flagged up DC's comments and asked your thoughts. I didn't go to the original game and wasn't available to go last night so wasn't faced with a decision to make. Like you say, it's your right to go. I feel differently about the Football League Trophy Reading B/U23 game as many that went knowing jeopardised the future of lower league football in this country and gave their green light for the introduction of B teams in competitive competitions. True supporters of the game should have stuck together on that issue and sadly a limited group decided not to.

The world, I mean football, is not going to come to an end if people decide to spend their hard earned cash on what they want; after all BRFC could have decided not to play in the FL Trophy ! but wisely decided to participate. Yes, the Swindon owner is a greedy person, but, I am not having him prevent me from watching, "Our Club". UTG

One perceived slight, and the usual suspects will be urging that we boycott the Sheff Utd game too.

I suggest we all meet up at the next ffsc get together, and for those who want to carry on with jibes to do it in Colesys carpark. Then the hug.

Massive difference in politics between the paint trophy u21s and swindle boycotts, swindle chairman is in the wrong, not gas fans who paid once or twice.
