1-0 down against a slick fleetwood team and there was some booing without a doubt and the people around me were very critical and full of advice on what our players should be doing. what a bunch of useless twats they are,,,our supporters are doing a very good impression of city supporters in my opinion and i detest themĀ am i alone or did anyone else feel out of place in the home crowd on tuesday? I said in another thread that there was a lot of moaning in the first half about the game. We were one down due to an individual error and I heard people saying things like " we're getting torn apart " and "this is terrible " every time fleetwood had the ball. The way I saw it it was a decent game of football between two decent sides it was equal first half and we were much better second half and deserved to win. I don't think we were getting torn apart at any point in the game and I've got to be honest some of the negativity around me in the blackthorn was getting on my nerves. We've come so far in such a short space of time I think some of our more demanding supporters have got a bit spoilt and now demand we play well for every minute of every game and if we don't it means we're getting " torn apart".

seems like a twat started a thread incorrectly where i was stood in the thatchers end there was a lot of abuse aimed at the team not the ref,so for me at least the thread is correct Whilst I don't agree with your post, I wouldn't pay any attention to anything that comes out of CGH mouth as he likes to give it the big chops then when you confront him about it , he will send you an abusive pm then he blocks you. The term keyboard warrior springs to mind !

In unfamiliar surroundings on the east terrace right by the dugouts and someone shouted at Darrell to change it after 15 minutes.
There will always be moaners, but I didn't hear any booing by me at half time.

sometimes I wonder if these threads are real, or it's just a Dallas style shower dream. - some people go to football to be able to act differently to the rest of their life (or in some cases, the same...). Obviously i don;t advocate racism, sexism etc, but for God's sake it's a place to let off steam, get on the refs back and create an atmosphere. Where else can a man sing with other men, apart from on some middle class TV show? [don't answer that rhetorical question Hugo, or baggins... ] Where else can men surge at a goal and go potty at a silly ball going in a net? - agree with Antonio here - we aren't all perfect little analysts DURING a match - yes, maybe after we can then have a more considered opinion but during the match we should be taking the water out of the oppo, the ref, their fans, whatever tickles our fancy. Yes we should wind their keeper up. - TBF the Blackthorn can be a very negative place at times and I regularly have to move to get away from some prize whingers. Anyone who doesn;t go in the Blackthorn will probably never hear this / experience this, or maybe even believe this... - can't see any benefit is all these threads slagging off fellow fans, and making huge judgments about 'proper fans', 'part-timers', 'happy clappers', 'rose tinters' etc. we are all different. get used to it. There is rarely a true right or wrong.

Yet another over the top post by the OP. Anger issues much? so where you were sat or stood, everyone was behind the team when they were behind in general? true or false? Stood in the dribuild. No booing, just the usual moans at misplaced passes and lack of pressing. And plenty of shouting at the ref. Ellis's performance didn't help. Chants of Roooos is all I heard. How dare people be 'critical and full of advice'.... Maybe get your own house in order before calling people useless twats on a message board.

Then there are the many fans who don't get the Roos cry. Funny you should mention that, when the blackthorn started the roos shout, i turnt to a yung un and said what the f**k are you booing at, his reply was it's ROOS. i pointed at me hearing aids n said yup im a deaf git ;lol: I did boo the ref every time he needed it. In the main i think the crowd are great with support, i remember times when for long periods of games the tote would be singing what a load of rubbish and booing(a lot of time it was warranted ,

Not having a go but if those around you are getting on yer tits you could always speak up or move somewhere else.

The atmosphere at the mem has been sh** for years. I remember games when I was younger in crowds of 5-6000 and loving it and going back to school to tell everyone how cool it was. It got worse after relegation from League One and the sh** that followed but why it's so poor and full of moaners after what we've achieved recently is beyond me. The mems atmosphere is no longer something I would boast about
