Everything went against us to be fair, after 60 odd minutes with 10 men you're always going to make errors.
Bounce back with the 3 home games now.

Millwall have a good scoring records at home so we were always going to be punished after the sending off.

Think 4-0 was harsh, but why do we seem to struggle when we are playing against 10 men?

Never a penalty, hardly touched the bloke and any contact was outside the box, soft ref playing to the home crowd, as for the fourth goal, well less said. Now must win tuesday. Still 5th so not the end of the world.

Sheer comedy for 4th, but can see why DC was cross with defence

Might do us good getting a bit of a tumping even though the score flattered the Lions a bit! Anyway we can take it out on Creepy Crawley Tuesday and get back to winning ways keep the faith UTG!!

New rules were introduced to prevent "tripe jeopardy" (i.e. sending off, penalty and subsequent ban). If the foul had been in the box then it would have been a penalty but only a yellow card. As it was outside it was a red card but not a penalty. In the Chelsea game the red card wasn't awarded due to the fact that the penalty was. That's how I understand it anyway, but it's not like I've examined that particular rule in depth.

There was also an occasion when he put the whistle in his mouth to give us a free kick and then decided against it. Very much a home ref.

Strikes me as massively unprofessional. Ah well, remember how it felt after we were beat 3-1 by Portsmouth last season? Quickly forgotten.

You'd have thought that whatever, the ref might have given the benefit of doubt that early in the game.

Shocking bit of shirt pulling on Lockyer during the corner before our first goal, and what was the Millwall striker doing leading up to the sending off as he just seem to throw himself onto the ground without trying to control the ball, plus surely we had a cover defender anyway who could have got back.
Just as well we didn't have this ref at Wembley, but I or we might be still in the Conference as Puddy would have got a red if Leads got a red have an innocent collision, not even sure its a foul!

Looks even less of a red card on the highlights. Shame it meant Colkett going off as well.
