I love Daryl Clark for what he's done at this club, but I get the feeling that "he's" thought that he can get us to the championship with players from non leagues or just above. Now that can be perceived as confident in your own ability, or arrogance??

wael gave dc a pathetic budget which meant he signed a bunch of kids on loan and 2 very ordinary lge 1 players. wael has delivered * all so far but has left our manager struggling signing kids on loan with a silly billy low budget. whats the difference between higgs and wael on the evidence so far? nothing as yet,,what about making some proper signings instead of the little children and failed professionals we have signed so far? why dont we question wael and say what the hell is going on? If Higgs was i charge we might have signed 2 or 3. However, the summer signings apart from Salty and maybe Boetang have disappointed.

I think you will find the debt was moved, not paid off, That said they have still invested a good few bob, if we are building a new debt or not, we will find out later. Early days yet, but we still look to be going in the right direction. I would be interested to know how NH and the other directors and major shareholders were paid off if Wael had not found the cash from a company which he owns and is therefore was his money. Easy one that. Higgs and his fellow directors have not yet been paid off, just ask them. They will be paid once the new stadium is built and the Mem sold. As for investment : truth is we haven't paid out for a training ground yet, nor indeed the UWE. What has cost money is the new staffing, together with costs for ongoing issues regarding both grounds. Its now that we shall see what is meant by investment in the team. As for me, I would buy no one, but loan the sort of players we need like a centre forward, a commanding centre back, AND A NEW GOALKEEPER. We won't get value for money in January. Then in the summer start the serious recruitment.

WAQ bought the club and paid the debt, he has now gone quite, what did you expect ? doh, he is only interested in tangible assets, something he can sell on, he ain't gong to make a penny from trading division 1 players. The novelty for WAQ will and most probably already has worn off. You did not really think he would be interested in what the supporters care about or think, come on.

Think it's time for me to take a break from here for a few weeks , this has now become a joke of a forum with some of the sh** being spouted on here, a lot of you have to sit back and take stock of where we have been over the past few years , you might not even of had a team to be slagging off if things went the other way at Wembley. Absolute belters , and you say the sh** have vile support, we are having our first wobble under the new regime and the knives are out , grow up ffs !!! Merry Christmas UTG !!!

And he learnt how to understate his budget after reading the Arsene Wenger biography? Not a manager in the game which says my budget is massive and it's a disgrace were underachieving. The only fact is that you know f**k all about our budget or anyone else's. Just another daily thread from you to lash out at someone pathetic. so your response to me could just as easily apply to the manager? DC doesn't start threads on here lashing out at people does he? I also suspect DC is the intelligent one of you 2 and knows exactly what he is saying, he's probably even got the intelligence to use capital letters.

They reached the settlement referred to above except Geoff Dunford who took cash.

Obviously assuming the mps loan has just been moved rather than paid off? Also if they are waiting for the mem to be sold and any new stadium to be built to pay off the previous board, what happens if uwe falls through and a new site proves difficult or wael gets fed up and wants out?

I really can't believe some of the utter rubbish that is being posted on here, not so long ago we were in the conference staring oblivion in the face, now we are currently five points off the play off places in league one. Let's get behind the owner, manager and players and do what we do better than anyone else in the country support our beloved team. UTG

DC on Wael:
"I'm the sort of person who takes as I find. All I can say about the president is that he has never once turned me down whenever I have asked him for something.
"He's allowed me to build a very professional backroom staff and has made money available for players."
Has our Owner undermined the manager? No. Discussion: End of. Good evening to you all.

Hopefully the OP is a small minority. We've hit a bad run after a good start to the season. It sounds like we are planning to strengthen when the transfer window opens. DC has to work with the squad he has in the meantime.
Why don't we all see what happens in January and in the meantime give the current squad our full backing. That's the best thing we can do to help improve results.
