wael gave dc a pathetic budget which meant he signed a bunch of kids on loan and 2 very ordinary lge 1 players. wael has delivered * all so far but has left our manager struggling signing kids on loan with a silly billy low budget. whats the difference between higgs and wael on the evidence so far? nothing as yet,,what about making some proper signings instead of the little children and failed professionals we have signed so far? why dont we question wael and say what the hell is going on?

Hard to say that with the circumstances that we are currently faced with. In reality we have no idea what's going on behind the scenes but it looks to me like a team who know they are being shown the door come the end of the season.

I'll bet the manager told the owner this bunch of players would be OK!

I don't think DC was given a 'pathetic' budget in the summer at all and if he thought he was being given a pathetic budget then he'd be in the Leeds dugout instead of Monk IMO.
We have a huge squad and retained every single player from last season's squad - that's pretty much unheard of and will have obviously taken up a large amount of the budget available for this season. Let's not forget we have players like Mansell, Lawrence and Gosling who we are paying week in week out to sit in the stands or sit at home on a Saturday.
I think we'll see a few outgoings (as well as incomings) in January and then the squad will get a proper revamp of L1 quality in the summer - when I predict a lot of our heroes from the past two seasons will be moving on.
We do need some experienced L1 campaigners to join in January though, I agree.

How people can say Wael has "delivered * all" is beyond me.

How people can say Wael has "delivered * all" is beyond me. It's because we have a section of brain dead idiots that I'm pretty sure feel more at easy supporting a sh** rovers side that a good one. Let's break things down simply and clearly. We have had a great two seasons lead by our greatest manager ever. The said manager promised to be loyal to our hero's from the past two years and we have had a decent first half of this season apart from the past 6/7 games. It's clear that some have been found out and are not able to take us forward any longer.I think DC only mistake has been that he has came out and said this in recent weeks and some of them may have lost abit of heart. DC is our,if not one of the most honest managers I've ever come across in football and he can lead is to the championship and beyond given time. But it's clear we now need to rebuild our current team to go to next level. As for wael doing nothing for our club - GET A f**king GRIP!

If we've got a decent Div 1 budget is DC lying when he says it's a bottom 8 budget, if so, what does that say about his relationship with Wael?
It seems the wheels have dropped off the wagon after the heavy Millwall defeat, but yesterday's abject display was a real eye opener.

I think you will find the debt was moved, not paid off, That said they have still invested a good few bob, if we are building a new debt or not, we will find out later. Early days yet, but we still look to be going in the right direction.

He may well have money to spend, but by re-signing most of last years team he has only spent bottom 8 money so far. Even if the budget is relatively small so what, the owners want to run the club properly and look to be investing in infrastructure We can all dream of the Championship, but a quick look there and seeing how much clubs are losing, should ooen our eyes to doing things the right way

If any of this had been true I think that DC would have been at Leeds now rather than signing that new 3 year deal.

Were you RAT assed when you started this thread. Surely your taking the Micky. New owners done more in 10 months than Higgs and co done in there tenure. Ridiculous comments from some fans. Probably the same fans who said they be happy with survival this season. I look forward to seeing this new test for our young inexperienced manager. Wouldn't say he's had it easy last 2 years but this is the 1st real bad bit of form, and a new challenge to put it right for him. He says he's got funds in January, so lets see what he does about it. IN WAEL I TRUST

IN WAEL I TRUST Exactly. Some people just chat bolloxs and cant think back more than a couple of weeks.at a time DC incentivised (rightly or wrongly) the players with a contract upon promotion toward the end of the season. DCs choice Those players have been given a chance. Some will hack it, others wont. DC says he will be working.on things in January. Surely we can only see if WAQ has undermined DC (he hasn't) if we do feck all in January, but i fear whatever we do wont be good enough for some. A freebie should be a 50k player, a 50k should be a 100k signing etc

[/quote] Agree, use of word budget by DC implies limit, when I suspect he meant actual running costs of squad. It's clear he has been given green light to spend so must be some funds available. But won't put us top 6 in terms of budget I'm sure. Wael wants to run the club sustainably and create value from his investment. That means getting more out than you put in, therefore he will be expecting a higher actual position vs cost of achieving it I'm sure. That's why he us investing in club infrastructure ahead of players, and that includes DC

The OP yet again reveals he is one of the ITK's, making a claim and not providing a shred of evidence to back it up.
