How do people feel about us just buying a new defence, as Parts can play anywhere across the back 4.
IMO it must be better than the mess we've had to put up with so far this season.
I bet teflon Lockyer will keep his place though.

Agree an experienced midfielder or young permanent CM to play alongside Lines would be nice. Or indeed replace him. Well wed have to bring in 2 others then. Cos the rest of the team you wouldn't consider starting 11 for the future.

Im interested in football and all things rovers so its natural to me at least to be curious about a fee and a contract length. If we sell matty taylor for an undisclosed fee do you suppose nobody will be curious about how big the fee is? DC never discussed transfer fees , player contracts or injuries to the media for obvious reasons. The length of contracts are sometimes reported, moore, bodin, leadbitter 2 year deals

Can't you at least show some sort of sign that you're happy with the signings, the progress we're aiming for? Im optimistic that burn and partington will be good signings and that the young loan players do better than the 6 we got at the start of the season. I just felt we needed a couple of well established league 1 players especially in goal and maybe at centre-back thats all.

I bet teflon Lockyer will keep his place though. To be fair to Locks I doubt we can start on Saturday with two new CB's and a goalie, particularly when conceding goals at home hasn't been as bad as away from home. Although the pressure is really now on Locks to cut out the errors, Brown seems teflon man as he still has no real competition at LB!!

Realised I saw him play for Kilmarnock away at Berwick Rangers in the Scottish League Cup back in July. Kilmarnock came behind from 2-0 down to win 3-2 avoiding an upset. Didn't notice our new man at the time but thought Kilmarnock were playing League 2 standard football at best. Kilmarnock fans West terrace standard. The records shows J Burn got a yellow card.
Apologies to anyone who read the first line and thought they might get a useful insight...

I guess Danny Greenslade will provide the competition if he's not on loan...I think he's 23 this month so if he's not pressing for a place now then I doubt he ever will.

There's talk on the street it sounds so familiar. Great expectations everybody's watching you. People you meet they all seem to know you. Even your old friends treat you like you're something new.
Johnny come lately, the new Gas in town. Everybody loves you. So don't let them down.
