The teds clearly didn't actually need Taylor given their transfer work up until this point. The whole thing genuinely reeks of Lansdown and Ashton sh**ting their pants because their season has fallen apart, the fans are on their backs and there was a genuine chance that we could finally be above them in the pyramid next year. It sticks in the craw that the traitor has gone to the teds but maybe we should see it as a compliment that the powers that be at the shitpit are that worried about us. Even though we're not their rivals apparently... The heat is well and truly off Lansdown and Johnson for a couple of weeks now and maybe Lansdown is hoping that will buy them time to start turning their collapse around. They've thrown enough money at the problem that is for sure. That's rubbish i'm afraid. We were desperate for a goalscorer and have got one at a very good price. 300k is peanuts these days in football worth the gamble. You were desperate for a goalscorer? You've got a player who is already in the top three scorers in the Championship! You now also have the BFG to play up front with him and Fatty Tomlin to chip in with a few if he's able to put his toys back in his pram along with the other forwards in your bloated squad. I've not found a single other ted that thought you needed another striker before you signed Taylor.

Just think about it logically for a minute. To begin with one of the first - if not the very first - instances of the £300k figure came from Keith Chump. Secondly, if MT had been available for £300k from the first of January do you really think that it would take until the 31st for an offer to be made? Thirdly, why would DC joke about offers of £ms being turned down while knowing Matty had a release clause for a paltry £300k. The chances are that £300k is way off the mark. £300k was confirmed as the figure on bbc points west last night. Don't spread this around, but I think they get their info from this very forum

It's just that Ego maniac c*nt Lansdowns attempt at one upmanship. He loves to wave his Willy around shouting "Look at me". Whether it's "Nobody will talk about Rovers anymore", sticking City billboards up in Horfield, Eastville, Filton etc, or the cringeworthy Welcome to Bristol hash tags all over social media. The blokes a bigger c*nt than Matty Taylor, he could see we're catching up and is running scared. It's took the flak off him and your midget prick manager for 5 minutes, but it won't last long because we all know your going down. You Sh1!heads will be booing and giving Taylor all the stick in the world when he hasn't scored in 5 games, and the bed sheets with "F*ck Off you Gas c*nt written on them, will be out in force. Now stop gloating and f*ck off!

It was somehing like "City have signed Matty Taylor from Rovers for a bargain £300k" there was nothing in what he said to doubt it put it that way.

Looking on the bright side another piece of scum removed from the dressing room, he din't want to be here so good riddance. We've all seen the effects of the dog spending money(it dont work) so lets hope whatever he spent on the snake is another waste of money. If mt doesnt score it's leaving the pitch will be like watching an episode of pob

I'm normally pretty accepting of posters from the other side but after yesterday and for the rest of this season you need to get yourself to f**k.

Sounds more like Pantsdown wanted to prove that there is only one team in Bristol. What a joke on his part to buy our top scorer for peanuts(to him),anything to stop the gap getting closer. Well Mr Pantsdown, there IS two teams in Bristol and we are not going away.

The Sh*t have spent big in that window, and yet brought in four players yesterday that they don't really need. Matt Taylor and Dave Cotterill as their marque signings on deadline day will hardly frighten the other ch umpionship clubs, tax dodging meglomaniac tosser. Lets get this show on the road again UTG

Taylor or Abraham, only room for one up front, Taylor is not a lone striker. At the end of the season if you stay up, you may have the option of keeping either but not both, Abraham will cost you say £8 mill, you will then find out if you are the same as us or not. Of course you could fund Tammy by selling MT for his true worth, bet there is no percentage sell on clause. Tbh I don't see him as a regular starter this season, just an option from the bench. Not a chance Tammy will be here next season even if Chelsea loan him out it will probably be to a Lower Premier league team.

From what I heard City made the approach on Saturday surely that was enough time to know he would be off and get a replacement in? You have a great record of bringing in strikers from the lower leagues why not take a punt on another?
