I think you need to look at your own club. Which is ironic coming from someone who spends all his time masturbating over a rival club's forum. Seriously, take your own advice.

I think you need to look at your own club. Not a chance that his release clause should be as low as 300k. Rosy faced twat. Back of the net.

I am another one who cannot help thinking that the s..t didn't really want Taylor. Sounds more like Pantsdown wanted to prove that there is only one team in Bristol. What a joke on his part to buy our top scorer for peanuts(to him),anything to stop the gap getting closer. Well Mr Pantsdown, there IS two teams in Bristol and we are not going away. I think you need to look at your own club. Not a chance that his release clause should be as low as 300k. but you paid us a lot more than £300,000

I have just got home and was going to write almost EXACTLY as this. Not only does Lansdown want to save his skin, but for what is an insignificant amount of money to him, he's tried to put a spanner in the works for the Rovers and by reading some of the comments here today on numerous threads, he's got a Brucie bonus with all the hate and vitriol created by some of our own fans aimed at OUR OWN board. So....what to do? Do we put our hands up in a surrender position or do we demonstrate what we're really all about. By getting behind EVERYONE and EVERYTHING to do with our beloved club. Matty Taylor, thanks for the memories but in the last few years the Gas have certainly not been a one man team. Can you imagine what the rest of the squad must feel like reading some comments on here? The squad members that we've been waxing lyrical about of late because many have produced multiple performances all over the pitch to get 8's and 9's out of 10, by us, the fans. Too many to mention, that's for sure. WE ARE NOT A ONE MAN TEAM, and I am sure that Mr. Taylor will realise that to his sorrow very shortly, and I take no joy from saying that. The man has made a mistake and it's down to us to show him, and we will. I've got the day off tomorrow, I'm going to put my "Fear the Beard" T shirt on and go down the local with my chest out and my head held high. I'll have one for DC and Weal but the first one I have will be for you, my fellow Gas 'eads. We are going up, and now you better believe it. UTG! Great post Miamigas. There's no doubt that the inbreeds have got one over us on this occasion and I don't really understand what's going on inside Mattee's head but hey that's life. We mustn't forget that things have been going very much in our favour since our relegation to the conference and I don't begrudge them this one little victory, in fact I take it as a compliment. Mattee has been a big part of our success but he's not a patch on some of the strikers we've had in the past and there's no one bigger than the team. For the past few years something has happened around this time of the season which has brought the team together and made us stronger; I have a feeling this is going to have the same effect this season. Time to pull together as one Gasheads and get behind the lads! We're only 12 places behind them!

On a similar subject how long does it take for a City fan to have a sh**?
9 months!

That's rubbish i'm afraid. We were desperate for a goalscorer and have got one at a very good price. 300k is peanuts these days in football worth the gamble. F*ck off Brislington Red. You didnt want or need Matty Taylor. It's just that Ego maniac c*nt Lansdowns attempt at one upmanship. He loves to wave his Willy around shouting "Look at me". Whether it's "Nobody will talk about Rovers anymore", sticking City billboards up in Horfield, Eastville, Filton etc, or the cringeworthy Welcome to Bristol hash tags all over social media. The blokes a bigger c*nt than Matty Taylor, he could see we're catching up and is running scared. It's took the flak off him and your midget prick manager for 5 minutes, but it won't last long because we all know your going down. You Sh1!heads will be booing and giving Taylor all the stick in the world when he hasn't scored in 5 games, and the bed sheets with "F*ck Off you Gas c*nt written on them, will be out in force. Now stop gloating and f*ck off! Great post.

Brislington Red - you can't deny that this signing has taken the heat off of a dismal run of results? Last week the Johnson Out banners were at full mast all over Bristol. The signing of Taylor & a home point (not enough in a relegation scrap) and the majority of you are all of a sudden happy! 1 point in 27? Adding to that, your manager said last night that he has bought a natural goal-scorer & I hope he can step up!!! He's not done his homework - he's no Andrew Cole, Gary Penrice, David Mehew, Barry Hayles, Marcus Stewart, Jason Roberts or Jamie Cureton! and will not be the next Jamie Vardy. A cheap gamble to keep you all quiet and you've fallen for it. When all said and done, I believe that Rovers fans have had Taylor's best days and he's done a job getting us this far! Cost nothing and we've obviously banked a bit! That is what good football management is all about at this level. UTG.

Trust me the pressure is still on LJ and if we don't win on Saturday he will most probably be gone. As for MT time will tell whether he can cut it at a higher level. Not really a gamble though at 300k.

Not a gamble at all 300k to the richest man in the universe is not worth worrying about. He's still lady garden though!

Think they will probably win Saturday and be full of sh** on here giving it the big one - they've got to hope the 3 teams above them don't get result also though as it will nulify anything they do. Can't see them getting much out their next 4 after that so with another 5 games down you can imagine the blind vitriolic abuse spilling out at the players and lickle Lee then. Without doubt MT is going to be a target if he hasn't excelled in those games and therefore Agent Taylor might just be our secret weapon after all. Couldn't wish it more on the pair of them.

A major concern surely now has to be that Letdown attempts to prise DC away from the club at some point. Assuming that is of course that DC and Johnson's trajectories continue along their current paths (which is not a given) there would surely come a point where he'd consider it - especially given that money is basically no object to the grubby little club down the road. If DC ever left us for them it would be the biggest suprise ever to happen to our football club.DC oozes class and clearly loves our club and would never do what the rattlesnake has done.

Yes, you have done a number on us with Taylor but that will pale into insignificance if the ever increasing possibility of you being relegated actually becomes reality. The sad thing about that is that when we visit your place next season Gasheads will have to put up with coins, bottles, corner flags and whatever else your scumbag fans throw at us in the away end as your stewards allow your mob to run on the pitch to cause mayhem - which incredibly usually goes unpunished.
And as for that "Welcome to Bristol Matty Taylor" banner last night? Total lack of class from a club who knows no boundaries.

You have to take stock. Mr Lansdown will die one day and his son we ruin the club even more. Circle of life.
