One of the reasons people go to football is to have a laugh/ socialise with friends I get that but just because we're Bristol Rovers, doesn't mean we can sit where we want. Especially when there are over 4,000 people to consider. Ironically there's a 99% chance a similar chant will be sung on Saturday!

I agree with weezord. He may have been a bit harsh with the 'people should've planned it better' quote but I think people should be expected to sit in their seats when it is solid out. If the stand is half empty then fair enough, sit where you want. But why should load of people have to spend time going round looking for a spare seat because someone else is sat in yours? It just cause mayhem. There's no other situation where you'd be able to sit in a different seat to the one allocated, so why at a football game? UTG!

Hi chaps, Cov fan here in peace. For once, there might be a decent atmosphere at the Ricoh with 4k of your lot making the trip. South Stand you guys are in holds up to 6000- likes of Leeds and L******er have sold it out before. Ridiculous they haven't continued selling you the full allocation. Think they've stopped you at 4,200 to make sure there's a gap between home and away fans. Like the moderator said, expect a very heavy handed steward and police presence in the ground. Since the couple of pitch invasions in Dec and Jan, the club has attempted to clamp down on trouble, but the overzealous and antagonistic nature of the stewarding has only compounded the issue and has made the general matchday experience for Cov fans far more hostile and negative. All the best for Saturday, hope youse enjoy your trip to the Midlands. Make the most of it cause i dont think we'll be playing you again for a long long time Pusb! The Moderator. See, you fuckers, that the sort of respect I expect from now on. Haha, The Moderator has a very different meaning up here which I doubt very much applies to you Hugo.

To those going.... your ticket has a row and seat number. Simples. Bet you reminded the teacher when they forgot to collect homework. No. I was one of the guys at shrews who had a bad day worsened by the abusive idiot stood next to me who couldn't be assed to get his seat

If you want to sit in your seat then that's fine, you've paid for it so have a right to ask someone to move. The only thing I have against it is that it'd be simpler if people who'd like to sit head to the front and people who stand go to the back, that way everyone's happy and all the standers/singers can gather in one place add to the atmosphere

It will be like a scene from Zulu 3 ranks of gunners blasting away at the Coventry fans with voices like a Welsh choir! We could do men of Harlech? Ah f**k it Irene it is!

I think this all depends on your personal situation. I'm going with a small 7 year old so from my perspective i'd like him to be able to see. 25 years ago i wouldn't have cared less and would craved the added chaos! In another 25 years i'll be praying to have a nice comfy seat.... Lets respect other gasheads on the day and remember not everyone is in the same boat. Lets ALL try to make this a FAMILY GAS INVASION!

Unfortunately too young to remember our greatest day, but raised on stories of it, great times we'd give anything for now. Taking over 40k to Wembley next week. Majority are treating it as a final farewell to the club we love. Tragic its come to this, but if any club knows what hard times are like its you guys, so great to see youse doing well now. Any and all Rovers fans welcome in the casino before/after the game to join us for a pint although most Cov fans are on 24 hour suicide watch atm so keep the gloating to a minimum ha. PUSB.

What happens if there is a demo during the game ,say a pitch invasion by Coventry fans to highlight the clubs plight, what should we do ? join in and show our support ,stay in our seats and sing sack the board ,do nothing and go for a cup of tea.

If we are losing give em our full support, if winning boo like F##k and tell em to get off the pitch, easy really

All depends if we're winning or not, if we're not then join in and hope for an abandonment!!!
PS This is a joke before the new BP reporter runs a story tomorrow about Gasheads planning a pitch invasion if we're losing!
