Problem is I can see them staying up. Brentford and Preston away are two fixtures any team in that division would do well to get points from. Look at their remaining fixtures and it's littered with sides with absolutely naff all to play for. Qpr, Wolves, Birmingham, Barnsley all on their holidays I imaging already. 4 home matches too. Even if they lose to Blackburn I still think they'll be OK unfortunately. And what happens then? Johnson stays, City fans spend the entire summer in a frenzy of anger, and ( hopefully ) next season pans out the same as this one. Doesn`t sound like the worst scenario in the world to me. Yeah, the last few months have seen all the teds in a frenzy/despond over their situation. They may be above us, but they certainly don't enjoy their position as much as we enjoy ours. The only occasional respite they get is when they go down to League 1, so I have no problem with them having another year, and more, of Championship struggle.

If they go down and we don't go up then yeah we'll have our bristol Derby next season which is good but the chances are they'll win promotion with their budget where as we will probably be top half / play offs and they'll be bragging non stop sbout how great they are. I'd quite happily see them struggle in the championship until we're there then we can relegate them.

Here it is in cold light of day - been removed now apparently. Their players are going to refund costs for all their fans who travelled to the match at Preston. Rather a clever move to deflect attention from the fact that they were accused of not making any effort themselves on the night.

That is real irony, up at "Artcliffe" building on the right is the former Cowlin Construction one.

I drove under that last night by which time it just said Lansdown Get Your. I did wonder what the rest of the sentence was. Now that I know it just makes the Sh1!heads look even thicker than we already know them to be. Is Johnson their new word for c*ck?

I found it amusing how many on OTIB were outraged at the initial lack of announcement regarding reimbursing the few that did travel.
Who do they think they are, those idiots chose to travel and pay money knowing they are sh**. I don't request my money back from a cinema if a film I watched was tosh, nor did I when we got beat by non-league teams away a few years ago.
Funny as fook to watch the shambles unravel though

It's all well and good paying compo for 300 fans, trust those cheapskates to pick a mid-week game to pay compo for!
As I seem to recall, the Teds were screaming blue murder about Saturday's performance. Shouldn't they also receive compo for that?
As far as I can tell this is a meaningless, empty gesture. The players are as good as saying "We didn't really try as hard as we could" Or "We fixing hate that little pr1ck and we're doing all we can to get him fired"
I don't for one minute suppose they would admit to either scenario, so what's to pay up for?
In addition, what ratio will they pay, an equal sum across the squad? What about the subs? What about the unused subs, would they be expected to cough up for something they had no part in?
How about the coach and trainers, a e they going to dip into their pockets? Most of the time, Squeaky won't even admit he's being interviewed on the radio, let alone admit he hadf@cked up team selection and tactics.
No, a cynic would suspect this is just another ploy by the Rosy cheeked Lady Garden to try and placate the fans.
I wonder if the Trecherous little Snake had it written into his contract that he could be expected to divvy up in the event of a heavy defeat, even if he hadn't played?
I somehow doubt it, as I reckon he'd begrudge anyone the steam off his p1ss.

That piggy fight was a classic. They lost 6-1 at home, two days after Wolves had sacked their manager.......Mark McGhee.
