One thing about being an 82er you never have to worry about clubs coming in for Lickle Lee as no bugger will ever that desperateš Well don't be so sure about that, he might end up in dwarf porn movies?

If DC isn't backed and isn't assured of the new stadium he will be off, at least then it will reveal all about our owner's intentions. DC is going to stay, why would he be looking for a house in Bristol Some very nice houses in Almondsbury.

He'll leave us one day obviously but I don't see the point in worrying about when or who he'll leave us to join. DC is ours and it's been a great journey and worrying about if and when he'll leave us will only tarnish the enjoyment of him being here for me. Hopefully our board are giving him what he wants and hopefully he will still be our manager next season but if not then pretty much every club in league 1 or the championship will be falling over each other to sign him, but so what he's ours for now isn't he ? f**k Pompey f**k em all UTG !

This could be one club that could tempt him I reckon. IF he's been given a decent playing budget, knows what's going on re UWE (positive news) and given a pay rise it will probably keep him here. IF Pompey are serious about getting him and he goes it will cost them a big compensation package. IF that should happen some serious questions will start being asked - we will know soon enough! What makes you say big? Don't they just have to pay off his contract here? If so, a BIG compensation package would suggest he is either on big money here or he's got an extremely long contract. Neither of which I have ever heard anything about?

I would suggest he is on a reasonable salary here after the Leeds approach. It's any one's guess but a compensation package IMO would run into 100's of k if the board insisted on a full 'buy out' of his outstanding contract. It's purely hypothetical at the moment and I did say IF in the OP.

Pompey have just been bought out for Ā£6m I doubt they'd worry about paying us compo for two years salary. but I can see them going for a much higher profile manager.

You would expect DC to be on at least Ā£2-3k a week so with two years left on his contract you'd probably expect at least a quarter of a mil. UTG!

If I had the option of being in charge at Pompey with that atmosphere and history or Wigan it would be a no brainer regardless of money because in my opinion Pompey is one of the best clubs in the country in terms of support, history, atmosphere and loyalty and Wigan is , well Wigan. Each to their own.

Easy decision for cook.
