I believe it is a SC event. However if capacity not met, then there may be spaces for non SC members.
Further details are on the SC website.

To find out the results go to the excellent Bristol Rovers memorabilia site

Just a reminder the meeting with Abdullatif, Matt and Tom Gorringe is being held in the Bristol Room at the Mem on Thursday 29 February at 7.30.
Supporters Club members can secure one of 150 limited tickets for the event by using the link on the SC website until 20 February.
A good chance to ask the questions you would like answered, face to face.

Bumped just in case anyone is having a night in glued to social media on deadline day so they get the very latest transfer news.
Hopefully the club do get some sort of commission on this.
Why not have a madras for the Gas.
Oh well, you can tell me to just burger off!

The advert does not go into detail.
Hopefully the club does get some sort of commission (or at least the cost of a page of advertising in the programme).
There is a picture of a massive burger placed in front of Big Johns mouth though!

In case you didn't get a programme recently, Rovers have a deal with Just Eat.
If you make an order over £25 and use code "Rovers10" in the "I have discount" section in the checkout then you get £10 off.
Deal expires Jan 31st

Lots of justifiable discussion on this topic across various threads, so think it warrants it's own ideas thread. Maybe scdave can take best ones to the board? Firstly, I was surprised how high the match day tickets are, especially to stand (£26?). East Stand seats seem to be £33 (i pay roughly £19 per game as an ST holder) and then the new stand at £29 for dead rubber games?! Still, understand with limited capacity, there was little space to move, but Norwich cup prices show what can be done. Ideas please for next season, mini season or games blocks for rest of this should be possible as soon as at 100% capacity. - Get the kids but especially teen (14-17) prices down for season tickets and especially match day. - 4 for the price of 3 games for all categories? - £20 maximum for standing? (although Thatchers always sold out so need to be creative here to not lose out too much) - instalment plan for season tickets (do we already do this?) Think you are confusing me with Steve L. I am only a programme and 50/50 seller now, and have never met Wael or the new owners. I can have a look and mention them to Helen though.

Not a natural finisher but he can produce moments of quality and offers something different to our other forwards.
In need of a confidence booster, so let's hope he gets one of the proverbial backside today!
With those with sort memories, the Exeter JPT trophy away game saw the type of recent performances. He could have scored 5-6 that day and cast a downtrodden figure as he missed chance after chance.
A few months later he scored the worldie v Oxford and with a smile on his face he was transformed for the next 12 months.
Lets hope he has a bit of deju vu and gets back on track.

If anyone is interested please get in touch with Jamie at the SC matchday shop for more info.
It's a win/win situation as someone struggling to afford to come to games can work to get into the game for free, the club benefits as it means more profit on programme and 50/50 sales and it gives a higher available prize to the first prize winners of the 50/50, plus more financial backing for Byron towards the youth team.
Unfortunately I can't make it today, so there is unlikely to be a seller by the CT office in the car park, so regulars may want to make plans to see others sellers.

Wish I was optimistic- as I get older, I seem to care more and find the roller coaster ride of being a gashead increasingly more difficult to cope with. Having supported the team for fifty odd years, I am still waiting for our day in the sun like Bournemouth, Luton and Brentford. If things don't go to plan tonight, I have a two and a half hour car journey back up the M5 to Staffordshire during which I can try to rationalise my disappointment. Hope the players are reading this- don't let my journey be a miserable one! UTG! If you buy two 50/50s you might get a winner, so that would make journey a bit more enjoyable. Biggest crowd of the season, with a lot of returners, should see a decent prize.

Feel sorry for Pete if he gets stick.
I can't see why the age old priority system of something similar to
1) Season Tickets 2) Sharescheme / Presidents club 3) Helpline / Gold Bond 4) SC and YP membership
are not allowed priority in that order.
Everyone knew where they stood.
If we had a similar situation back in the day, you just knew the club would have sold a few half year season tickets already, and a lot of people would have joined the scharescheme, or one of the support groups in the next day of two and Pirate Leisure and 199 would have sold a lot of merchandise, so at least the club made some money even if we didn't progress.
During the Pirates Pot meeting I believe Dave Bright said he would take on board supporters comments that the Pirates Pots should have some sort of ticket priority as per Helpline. I am not sure if this was ever progressed.

Not sure if it has been mentioned but was only around two years ago that Klopp and his players signed a shirt and sent it to Nick Anderton to be used in a fundraiser.
They probably didn't know him from Adam, but it showed a lot of class, that one of the top clubs looked after a fellow pro.

Very sad news.
A great link between the board, staff, the community dept, supporters groups and players wives and girlfriends.
We used to hold the SC MotM in the bars after ever game, and on his debut the Italian on loan from Sheff Wed, Michelle Del Piedi won. The club obviously did not do sufficient due diligence as his stunningly beautiful wife was 8 months pregnant at the time and obviously he had other family related things on his mind other than playing for the Gas. Ann escorted her using pigeon Italian in front of the club house and nothing was too much trouble.
I remember when the SC volunteers were asked to get to the Mem to help remove a deluge of water off the pitch early one Sat morning v Swansea. It was a relegation battle and rumour was that two of their best players had failed fitness tests so we really wanted it on.
I believe Ron and Ann flew back into the country that morning and didn't go home first. Instead they went straight to the Mem and there are pictures of Ron in his smart clobber with short shirt and immaculate brogues, getting covered in mud, forking the pitch on a cold and wet morning amongst the SC rabble.
Ann was busy getting coffees and bacon butties organized for the volunteers.
Somehow the game went ahead (I remember a clever ploy by Ian Holtby directing the ref to exactly where to try and do the waterlogged pitch tests of the ball running smoothly and the ball actually bouncing. If he tried anywhere else it would have failed) and Hoggy smashed in a loose ball to give us a hard fought 1-0 win.
Pretty sure Ron and Ann won the 50/50 prizes quite frequently and always donated the money back with no fuss.
As mentioned in another post, I really don't think everyday fans knew what the Board and their families, club staff and volunteers had to do just to keep the club alive.

It's pretty basic requirement for watching or playing football, but after watching MotD this morning you can see how serious football is. Arsenal's Jesus is living most kids dream, earnings shedloads of money doing a job they would live to do, but the bloke hardly smiles. Dwight Yorke used to positively beam even when he was at Villa, let alone winning most of the time at Man Utd. With the for and against Barton situations we have had, I hope the new manager can ease the modern pressure on players and they can go out and play with a smile on their faces and create enjoyment for the fans as well. Early days but MT certainly seems to have done that! What Rovers fans didn't enjoy the last two games?

Good to see that with the increased attendances, the 50/50 draw saw the biggest prize of the season v Pompey.
Over £1,270 was paid out to fans during the last two games.
Whose to say that with the increased capacity we can't smash those sorts of figures?
We are in need of more sellers, so if someone has an hour to spare in the fanzone (or maybe in the drinking areas under the new South Stand?) that can help the club raise more money for the youth team to help the next influx of talent and it will also help increase the prize money for fellow fans.
If you can help, please pop in and see Jamie in the SC match day shop.
Recent prize details can be found on the history group website.

Good to see the women's team showing on the BBC football website - even it is just on the list of today's fixtures.
Good luck to the girls today.

As we approach Christmas just reminding you all of this scheme that was rolled out by the previous sales manager, but was not given the publicity it should have.
Once you sign up, you buy your Christmas presents, just as you would have done anyway - it doesn't cost you anything more - but the club gets a bit of commission if you purchase from an affiliated company.

If we get a fantastic draw, I hope the club really promote half year season tickets.
This should mean extra revenue and hopefully a bumper attendance for the Cheltenham match.
Big potential cup game, new manager, new stand, the club really should be looking to maximise the feel good factors that these things can bring.
