Take note on how to miss sitters and strut around like you own the place. Terrible

Forum police here. I have just read this thread for the first time (and read from start to finish) so I thought I would correct/answer a few things 1. He scored 2 great goals pre season at Salisbury 2. He did not go on loan to Grimsby (although they wanted him he turned them down twice but opted to go to Tranmere when he was told to go out on loan by DC) 3. Yes he has a poor first touch ( and a poor second touch for that matter) but it is really p1ss poor of any 'Gashead' to boo any player wearing the quarters 4. DC does not rate Lucas either yet so unless we are totally out of other options he is likely to be out on loan for most of the season. 5. I'm sure if DC could offload Bliss and Milders tomorrow he would. What level are Salisbury this season, probably at least 5 levels below Div 2? Mitch Harding gave his all in the quarters, does that mean he should still be with us instead of hairdressing?? If Harrold, Clarkson, Beardsley & Gillespie all struggled in Div 2 how's Blisset going to ever hack it for us? But people calling him a joke, and only here for comedy value is bad taste in my view. That's what I'm getting at. No one deserves that while still here. Like I said he may not be good enough, but I see a lot of people putting him down for things other players do as well but don't get called a joke for it.

He may not be good enough, but I do feel people have been harsh on the bloke. He's always giving 100%.

If you say Harrison didn't put effort in last night, I can only imagine what you think Taylor did.

I hope someone is going to be doing lots of updates for me as I'm stuck in work 0-0 at the moment, quite boring.

I agree with Nick, as someone once said. I thought even after the Pompey game that he hadn't been as bad as most seemed to think. He had a good spell of telling passes as well as thumping the woodwork and scoring. He was also quiet for a lot of the time, but that's often the way up front - service is everything. Now he's gone on from there and looks a real asset. He's no one-man team, but I'm very glad we've got him. He also plays for the team and not for himself. Which is a very good thing to have!

Duly taken on board that you are obviously clueless. Guess you were indulging when Lines fell asleep for the first goal No need to insult him.

Do you realise the damage we could do on this forum? According to a few because Nick Higgs hasn't replied to about 40 posters on here his position has become 'untenable' at BRFC. Just think if we said the same about Steve Lansdown or Sheikh Mansour(sp?)!! We could make their positions untenable too! Ohh the damage we could do...... You've made your point

I want us to be in the prem after a year, as we are such a big club. When they see we have rich owners they will put us in there straight away. Wooooo.
I think that's reasonable enough, and something to aim for....

Two cr@p ref's are really covering up we've had virtually no goal threat in our last two matches, yesterday we still played 30 mins plus of 11 v 11 and another 30 mins plus of 10 v 10 but still didn't create a worthwhile chance. We've now back to last season before we brought Cunnington & Martin in and then LDV & Dawson, we clearly need pace on the wings & a different option up front. Why we didn't re-sign Dawson is a real mystery. We were 11v11 for 17 mins. So I'm guessing the header parks should have scored, the Easter volley, the free kick, Browns header across goal, the penalty we should have had and the countless corners resulting in shots doesn't count for chances? On another day we could have won 2/3-0. Yes we could maybe create a little more but to say we didn't have any chances is wrong IMO. I haven't enjoyed a 1-0 defeat like that as we actually played football.

Easter gave the ball away. Once. Which is 100% more than he had with shots on target? Regardless it's easy to keep possession when all a player does his pass it side ways or back wards New whipping boy?

Not sure being Mr Nasty would give him the ability he appears to lack to make it at league level? 10 gaols in nearly 60 games for Kidderminster suggests he was never going to be prolific goal scorer even at Conference level. That's the thing, Bliss was never brought in to be a prolific goalscorer. He needs to be running at defences and scaring the sh*t out of them. But the blokes too nice. A lot of defenders shy away from Akinde / similar because he's a nasty f**ker. If they played against Bliss they'd always shake his hand for a well contested battle but sometimes you need a horrible f**ker up top watering the defenders off - and then Easter, Taylor, Harrison can slip in behind and stick it in the net. You just need to look at Easter. He's as aggressive as they come and it shows as the game goes on, they sit back a bit as they know he will kick and push for everything.

Anyone know if Michael Smith is getting in the Peterborough team these days? Might be the perfect replacement if we could get him on loan. Just thinking that myself....he's not even getting on the bench @ Peterborough! Injured, been a regular before it.

Fair play to Bodin too for the third goal. He lost the ball on the edge of the area, but harassed two Barnets before winning the ball back and putting Lines in. He does seem to put his body on the line, he was unlucky for their goal as well as he was the one tha blocked the shot.
